I find the more you read and study the word of God the enemy attacks your thoughts more. He works through people to say hurtful things to get you off of believing what God has told you too! Does others have attacks when your sleeping? I was just wondering.
As you dive deeper into God’s Word, there can oftentimes be a spiritual attack. The enemy doesn’t want us drawing closer to the Lord. The way to defeat him is to continue growing regardless and obey it. Hope this helps. ;-)
Yes, I have had attacks in my sleep. There are several reasons for it. One of the things I realized for myself is that it tend to happen just before I do certain public appearances. Calling/thinking the name of Jesus gets me releases from the attack. I also felt God warning me many years ago, to rebuke the spirit of fear whenever it happens. Years later I heard a Minister mention that attacks in sleep can open the door to the spirit of fear, who then opens the door to other issues. Don't want a long post, but just wanted you to know you're not alone.
If nothing in the natural works, I usually have a time of fasting and prayer. Also taking time to listen for the solution God sends. You can also ask a trustworthy person to pray for you.
Hi Christina! I have had this question on my mind for the longest time and I just want to know the answer. I have been wondering if I’m not good at putting my faith and trust in God in all the struggles that life brings, does that mean that I won’t get into heaven? I love God with all my heart and I want to be with him for the rest of my life on earth and with him in heaven but I’m afraid that I won’t be able to meet him in heaven. I try to pray to him everyday and read my Bible as much as I can but I still just don’t feel like I’m doing good enough.
The work of the enemy sis, perfect love cast at fears. God will never say you're not good enough when he created you and said you're good . Be strong and start practicing trust and faith more.
There are few verses that helps me remember that it is God who saved me and gave me access to eternal life. I'll share. Hope they encourage you. Eph 2:8-9 KJV 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Tit 3:5-7 KJV 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
What if you don’t have any song, dance, podcast, sermon.. what about those who don’t necessarily have something like that? What are the other examples?.. some of us may not have anything that great. But we are still susceptible.. I have two clients who have nothing to look forward to.. ( in their eyes) and they just cry in my office and I wanted to let them hear this but it doesn’t speak to those who have no title or no family or no friends.. they have HIV and they feel defeated
