Her placement is absolutely ridiculous. It gives me chills🔥👏. She just mixes so expertly and I’m jealous and in awe at the same time lol! Lastly, I could listen to her vibrato all day! It’s honestly so perfectly balanced!
Wow I wasn’t expecting to hear much from the actress they casted as Maria in WSS (cus Angel Elgort isn’t a theatrical singer & most movie-musical singers aren’t that good), but I was VERY impressed! I only hope her head voice “operatic” voice needed for WSS is this good!

The acting is on point, such a natural at acting. Her voice is beautiful but she went flat in some key moments. But sooooo soooooo beautiful. She’s grown so much since the first time she sang this.
So what? No live vocal performance is ever 100% pitch accurate. The big belted note was so slightly off that the average listener wouldn't even notice. It wasn't enough to detract from the overall performance.

Even someone like Pavarotti, a highly trained, highly skilled vocalist with perfect pitch isn't 100% accurate. He'll be off by a few cents on many notes. That's just a function of being a human, not a robot. Especially when one factors in vibrato. Again, it won't be noticed by the average listener, but it is the reality. Oh, and I'm a professional vocalist and voice teacher with decades of training and experience, so I am "someone who knows about vocals."
