- A video review of the Lotte Hotel Seoul, including the inside of the deluxe twin room, the common areas of the hotel, and the neighborhood around the hotel. The Lotte Hotel Seoul is in a great location for visiting Seoul for work or pleasure, situated across the street from Seoul's city mall, between the Royal Palace and Myeong-Dong. And it's right on top of the Lotte Department Store, so lots of shopping and food is just an escalator ride down one floor from the hotel's lobby. Definitely consider this hotel for your Seoul trip!

yeah i agree insane price for buffet. Especially dinner is over 100 US dollars in all 1st tier hotel dinner buffet(lotte, shilla, chosun) in seoul. I really surprised when I had buffet in bacchanals and palm resort not only the price but also the diversity and delicacy. If you want to find reasonable and sumptuous buffet in eastern asia, the best answer would be taipei. Regent buffet, Grandhyatt buffet. highly recommend.

Approximately $60 for breakfast?! Yikes! At least everything else about the hotel sounds awesome. It looks really nice especially with the location!

I just asked the front desk to confirm if they had 110 volts and they gave me confusing answers 1, that I can rent an adapter, 2, that there's an adaptor in the room when simply 110 volts exist. This is presumably all rooms correct?

10:00 the reason why bathroom feels like bit odd is because its a wet toilets.
In dry toilets in EU or US , toilet's floor is just another floor of the house. if you spill water on the floor. you have to wipe it out. isn't it?
apart from shower both and sink. everything else is not expected to be wet. so it is just another room of house.
and if you notice 6:10 there are no shower curtain in the tub! which is CRAZY ?!?!? right?
but it is not. everything in the toilet usually design to be ok to watered (like toilet...)cause there are drain on the floor. that is why there are little bit odd bump blow the door.
( you can see little drain outside of tub in 6:10)
+this is why, if Korean friends visits your house, it is usually better to let them know there are no drain on the floor.(then they will ask "then how do you clean your toilet???" shits like that....anyway)
Wow thanks for the explanation. I didn't know that most of the toilets there do not have the drain on the floor 😯 so now I need to consider this as one of the requirements to look for an accommodation in Korea (because I'm a typical asian, I do wet the floor sometimes when using the bathroom even just for using the sink 🤣)
did the shower have a basin or did the shower floor contiguous w the rest of the bathroom. want to know if the shower water flooded the bathroom. thanks. love your vids.

Wow a tea kettle inside the drawer, that's actually pretty neat and space saving, is it plugged and operational in the drawer? (Assuming you should keep the drawer open when the kettle boils water )
Also the phone next to the toilet seat is great for those emergencies where you accidentally run out of toilet paper

i remember the last hotel i stayed on seoul in myeongdong, the sink was like your sink and it was outside the bathroom, inside the room. also in the closet, someones dress was still in there. also in the bed, someones long hair was left in it. tbh i probably should have changed rooms. but both times ive stayed in seoul, the location was good, and hotel werent so bad. wish i could stay in a really nice hotel like yours. but yeah the breakfast price seems ridiculous. i think i mostly ended up going to the coffeeshops nearby like paris baguette, a two someplace, hollys coffee, any other korean coffeeshops.

I usually dont on the hotel reviews because when I'm traveling on an airplane I wear a black shirt so the yellow doesn't reflect glare on the airplane TV screen
