I actually think this is exactly what Cassie needed. It will get way worse for a while but she will be able to slowly heal and reduce her anxiety levels not having to deal with the guilt of actively lying to her best friend

@@KoolKukumber yes, for a while. But she at least will be able to move on, either with her friend or not, but move on. Sometimes in order to get better the situation needs to “explode” and the truth needs to come out. Before this, she was stuck in a cycle of anxiety, hiding the secret, guilt… at least now it’s in the open and “out of her hands” in a way. Plus, I do believe Maddy will end up forgiving her. They have been best friends for years

Everyone in the show is addicted to something, one way or another. Each person struggles. And one addiction is no worse than the other.
People were so cruel to her, over and over, and the second she does ONE THING wrong everyone hates her. Pathetic.
I know this isn’t gonna happen bc its tv, but Cassie really needs to just get out period. She needs a new school, in a different (less dramatic and toxic town) place, where she can be what she is. A kid. All these students are struggling with adult problems because they are children. I love the show but Cassie seems like the most vulnerable and naive character that’s just never going to “win” at a school like that. Looking forward to seeing what actually happens next ep tho. Hoping she gets a redemption arc eventually!

I love her so much. Nobody will ever understand why I love her so much. She's literally me and I'm literally her and when I watched the show I was going through exactly what she was and it comforted me so much. She's literally my comfort character and I always defend her. She just wants to be loved. And I'll always get it. I love her.

Here’s a word of advice love: If you relate to her so much then knowing how shitty her actions were and are you should be taking notes on who you shouldn’t be, and if you want to glow up you shouldn’t do it when Cassie glows up, do something about yourself before you end up creating a life like Cassie’s. It’s disgusting how you’re letting yourself be treated like this because you deserve better knowing how much you do for others. If you’re depressed, try and get therapy for your problems, and it’ll take a while for these problems to be solved but at least you won’t end up creating a life that’s similar to Cassie’s.
Cassie's story makes me so sad. I feel really badly for her. She is such a broken soul.

The thing is, Cassie chose to sleep with Nate and instead of coming clean, she chose to deny it and gaslight Rue by throwing the addict card in her face during an intervention. Friends don't do that. Your past may explain your actions but it doesn't excuse them.

Maddy framed an innocent man in season 1 episode 5. And lied about her age to sleep with older men. She also threatened Cassie in season one when Cassie was concerned about the abuse she suffered. And to the people saying Maddy was manipulated by Nate because she was in an abusive/ manipulative relationship. The same could be said for Cassie. Cassie is being manipulated as well right now also. She genuinely feels Nate really loves her. She’s just as broken and insecure mentally as Maddy is. Just admit you guys Stan Maddy because you like her outfits. Cassie is broken too. She has a lot of learning to do. Stop picking and choosing. ❤️

Man I was like Cassie in high school, she deserves better. Sadly because I kinda lived it, it will only get worse for her character, than eventually just work out after you drop all your druggy friends and do better for yourself.

I honestly feel so sorry for every euphoria character but I can’t help but be more drawn to Cassie. I understand her the most. Cassie can’t feel the love she receives and I wish that Cassie knew that she doesn’t need male validation/ be in a relationship just to feel loved. What she did was wrong and her trauma cannot back up her actions but I do feel like people should at least try to be in her shoes for just a moment.

Cassie I can definitely say is easily carrying the most on her shoulders, most people in the euphoria fandom don't really understand her character and all the shit she has been through and is going through especially her mental issues, I can definitely relate to cassie a lot in many senses and ways and I just wanna give her a hug I feel like she needs a really good friend right now to tell her everything is going to be fine and hug her and be there for her. (I'm just waiting for people to try to attack me for this and tell me she is a horrible person for fucking nate and shit)

You know, everyone now hates Cassie (I feel like more than Nate) but they forget that this is a girl with a drug addict father who tried to please every guy in her life and on top of that after an abortion. Cassie is lost and alone. Everyone just judges her but no one has asked her how she feels and if there is anything they can do to help her. "Daddy Issues" is not a trend. It's a horrible life of crying and nightmares. The feeling that no one will love you or think you're good enough.
I really relate, I'm going through something similar to Cassie. But the other person (Maddy) in my case is not my best friend it's just a old friend. But I fell completely in love with her.(Nate) in my case, and I know it's wrong. And I've tried to walk away. But I can't because she also says that she loves me and we kiss, She tells me that she is in love with me, we even had se*, but she's still with him. But I can't. And it really hurts me to see them together, the plans I had with her, she made with her boyfriend. i don’t feel pity for cassie. her sister shared the same type of trauma as her and she doesn’t do things like this. i understand they are different but what she did isn’t excused by her trauma. she knows nate was abusive towards maddy and she still decided to hook up with him. not to mention she knows that what she is doing is completely wrong and yet she continues to do it. she acts innocent but she isn’t.
What about Rue? She has a sister too who's normal who went through the same shit as Rue yet she's not a druggie like her sister. You must have full sympathy for Rue so do I.

Cassie has low self esteem and hence makes those mistakes. That's her way of dealing with trauma. Lexie is mature and she deals with her problems through her wrtings. Both of them have different coping mechanisms. Lexie is definitely lucky to be the mature 1.
Cassie and Rue are both wrong yet we cannot judge them. That's called mental illness/issues.

@@novelretrotown91 first, this isn’t about rue. second, rue and cassie are completely different people. the only similarity they really have is that they have trauma. rue literally has a disease that not only affects her but everyone around her and she obviously needs help but she doesn’t get it. cassie on the other hand does have help. she has a big support system. kat, maddy, lexi, her mother. cassie also had an out of her relationship with nate. he said he shouldn’t hook up and she still did. if we are comparing situations here, rue has a lot more trauma then cassie.
@@pickles1604 I'll disagree on the support system, her mom is an alcoholic, absent father, her sister has resentment towards her, and so far her friends all supported her harmful decisions. Those do not make up a support system.
All of these people in this show have some mental issue going on not all disease have to be due to drugs like rue. People been saying that Cassie shows signs of BPD, and that is often hidden and many people suffer and don't get help from it bc people just brush them off as crazy.
