Thank you for featuring my GT3 R tune!! I'm here at work and ngl I yelled out f*** yeah when I heard my tune come up and immediately took a break to just sit and watch. I've been messing with the tune just a little to see if I can squeeze a little more grip but no huge improvements yet. Thanks again man great video as always!
thank you for an amazing tune, i tried it and i fell in love with it (quote literally) however i need to ask, have you experimented with more gears to try and give it higher top speed, its the only downfall if it can be mitigated somewhat it could very well be op for s1
@@GeneralVeki more gears doesn't fix that problem. Adding hp or taking the aero down a bit would raise the top speed. More gears adds weight and that wasn't an option considering how I built it out. Like I said it was tuned for short, tight tracks or sprints with a lot of turns. Hope this clarifies a little better and I'm glad you like it! 😁
I love the GT3 R so much. It just grips so well no matter what. I don't usually like doing the volcan sprint touge race, but I loved it in this car lol.
Hey DUBS been a while since ive swung by. Had to come see how everythings going, randomly popped into my head when you would bleep your intros and they were probably the best intros on youtube LOL
The Ford GT tune is hella meh, idk what the person did to it. I put together a basic build in two minutes and got a 50.9 on plaza in 5 laps. I think they put worse tires on it to make room for more power, which is a mistake imo. Great video btw. E: 50.3 in 9 laps
This. Grip > power, always. Quick is better than fast, lol. Also, I HATEHATEHATE when people put the big ugly heavy wheels on a racecar just to save PI. So dumb!
You can get away with downgrading the tyres if you're using the GTs in S1, but it's risky since they really need the grip on launch due to the non-existant aerodynamic eficiency with the wings, cannards and all that stuff, so they become a weird grip build wich only performs well in the mid-end and have no puch off of slow corners, and AWD doesn't fix it since it introduces a SHITLOAD of understeer
If you want to turn sharper or have twitchy steering adjust TOE positive 2 degrees. Another option is to lower REAR BUMP STIFFNESS to increase turn ability.
DUBS, I wanted to write this comment for a while now. When you apply a tune on PC, there is a really high chance, that the tune needs to be applied 2 times. I have this bug, since forza horizon 4, that the first time it only applies the PARTS ONLY, and the second time the actual tuning.... hope this helps :)
