Neat to see... Ian hit us harder than Irma did even though it stayed further away. I have a good amount of chainsaw work as i have 5 oak trees down on my property. A couple of crushed fruit trees and some fruit trees that need stood back up and pruned. I assume you were ok where you are at?
I can't believe Ian took that track! Everything wasn't too bad over here. It could've been similar to ft Myers, maybe worse. The winds got pretty gusty last night. I was finally coming to terms with the possibility that everything was about to be flattened and then it moved. I can't imagine what the people down south are going through. They literally had no clue until Tuesday morning. Looks like you're gonna have a lot of firewood. Which trees were affected?
@@ingarrajoey i had to hard prune my glen mango cause it fell over, my Mauritius lychee is a huge open vase tree now because the center branch broke out of it, my seedling from an Atemoya was crushed by an oak but i hard pruned it and rescued it. My acerola bush kind of rolled on its side but i pruned it heavily so it should be fine, one of my loquats was uprooted so it got a hard prune. A few other trees have a slight lean and just need straightening. One of my sapodilla is under an oak tree which I haven't gotten to yet. Was a busy day today.
@@ingarrajoey I’m in 10a Was planning to do it soon just don’t know when. I remember your video on it. Have a coconut cream that I would like to give it a try on

what's the update for spring 2023? I haven't seen a new video recently
I'll try and make one soon.
@@ingarrajoey What's the update for winter 2023? Lets see that frost protection setup and how you manage bigger trees
@@ingarrajoey :)
When will it be a good time to girdle my tree to help produce?
If you live in 9b you can probably get away with it now since the cambium is probably still loose. Try with a limb or 2 and see how the tree reacts.
