I dont recommend using the Citron and Tile Turnip combo in arena if you're looking for a long streak. I used it and it cleared the area so fast, the zombies cant spawn fast enough, resulting in me getting lower score 😂
i used it veree nice or that a majority of people suck at arena either way got 100k in brick arena

Citron tile turnip combo is what I use most in arena. It's actually really helpful
It too expensive
Until you reach the gargantuar stage, parsnip is great with tile turnip. Even though it costs 7$ it’s worth it, you get so much more ahead. I only enjoy the citron turnip combo because I like seeing the zombies go flying it’s just so fun but other than that gameplay wise it’s not conventional.

I consider celery stalker as a better substitution to the bonk choy. Bonk choy is very slow, so its dps in very low, hence if there is 2-3 tough zombies like bucket- or brick-head zombies, you will have to spend a lot of money on healing your defense (walnut, for example). Celery has a lot of dps because of its hit speed and damage. Also celery has far more hp, so it can endure some bites as well.
Or you can combine both CS and BC for double the power
@Soki Morgan , nah, it has only half hp of usual walnut, so it will be eaten quicker, leaving bonk choy with no defense. Its regeneration is also too slow, so bonk choy will probably be eaten

When forced to play with primal peashooters, my favourite strategy is to make a control game plan with blover instakill
Jurassic marsh encourages stalling zombies, meaning like iceberg lettuce’s freezing and potato mines
With primal peashooters knockback +blover instakill in air zombies,
I combine with chard guard and sometimes spring bean to continuously one shot zombies
Really cool strategy, hope whichever pvz2 player can try this out

also i got a myth for you to use in a different vid: if a zombie uses a boost from potions/ cardio zombie, and then you hypnotize the zombie, the boost stays.
Wouldn't it be better if you replace wall nut with endurian?

Chard+blover is really good since it can take out heavily armored zombies like gargantuars if you are accurate with your timing. I time it when the zombies feet touches the chard guard
Also for the endurian one, I’d recommend putting snapdragon behind as it does decent damage and covers a 3x2 radius

5:06 i like to call the combo as greater mine launcher. its good combo but it have downside: if there's space that already occopied, can't kill flying zombies, having too many mines on tile turnip is redundant as lesser mine will be launch if too many mines on the field. so its better that only having at least 3 or 5 primal mine on tile turnip. as my suggestion

you could replace the wall-nut with durian for extra damage or you could do a tall-nut for extra defence
Another great combo is the lightning reed and primal peashooter. Since the lighting reed attacks multiple zombies at once, when you pair it with the primal peashooter, it pushes most of them to the back, and makes levels stupidly easy. It works really well against pretty much every zombie, especially gargantuars. Really great video btw, I didn't know about a lot of these
And since primal pea pushes the zombies together the lightning reed gets more chain
If you add celery stalk (or whatever it’s called) with the endurian and spikeweed/rock it’s a powerful combo

I actually found another good combo that I don't think it was supposed to happen, but, if you use Clover and Primal Peashooter, you can kill an entire wave of zombies with 2 or 3 Clovers. For some reason, when a projetile from Primal Peashooter push a zombie, Clover detect it as if the zombie is in the air, so you can juts spam Clover and zombies will continue to just die randomly. (Note: Clover doesn't work with the Pterodactyls, if a zombie is dragged, wait until the dinosaur let the zombie go an cross fingers for it be pushed by the Primal Peashooter)

Insane Combo: Bowling Bulb + Tile Turnip + Explode-o-Vine. Just like Citron, when combined with the Tile Turnip the Bowling Bulb's plant food becomes over the top strong. But in order for them to shoot their electric bulbs, it takes a bit of time. Since there's some fast zombies, the Bowling Bulb can get overwhelmed. If you plant Explode-o-Vine and Bowling Bulb on the same tile and get a power tile on it, when the plant food is activated the Explode-o-Vine knocks back and does some good gargantuar damage, so the Bowling Bulb has time to shoot and also clean up the imps. This is a really good strat and can be used on arenas where Appease-mint family plants get buffs. Good video ZomVoid, would be amazing if you gave me a heart. Have a good day.

This isn’t exactly free, but I love Tile Turnip and Scaredy-Shroom since it only cost 375 Sun for 15 Scaredy-Shrooms, then you only need two Tile-Turnips for the Scaredy-Shrooms to shred.
Weaknesses include: Portals, Gargantuars, and Weasel Hoarder Zombies. However, if timed correctly, it can shred through an entire gargantuar without it throwing the imps!
Even though it isn't free, a great combo that I use a lot is pokra + endurian + ice weed. The iceweed slows and damages the zombie. The pokra does tons of damage and slows it even more. If the zombie manages to get to the endurian, it will die even quicker to the endurians spikes. As long as it isn't a excavator, gargantuar, mecha football or regular football zombie, it will kill anything. I think sap fling will help even more but I'm not sure.

citron and tall nut is also a pretty good combo with tall nut's health and citrus's ability to one shot almost every zombie you can make a decent if not an op combo with this

for a lot of the wild west levels you can put a wall nut and spike weed at opposite side of the lawn mowers and be safe the entire level as it kills the everything including the prospector zombie before it can rocket jump

This maybe bias because I just played dark ages, but I would argue that sunshroom is a better choice: it's cheap, it's quite spam able, can be plants in the first second in a game, and can make 3x its cost if you give it time or plant food it.
Another choice is primal sunflower: a little more expensive than a regular sunflower, but it can also produce more sun than a normal sunflower, it doesn't need time like the sunshroom to produce the same amount of sun (if you give the sunshroom time), and it is the most certified caveman option out there (probably because it was their only option, but I didn't rate it on a stone and passed it out to my fellows).
Random combo: Pyre Vine on Aloe, Endurian and Spikerock
(Place them in sequence/)
for the bonk choy, wallnut, and spikeweed trio I would replace wallnut with the durian and spikeweed with spike rock, both still make a pretty good trio tho

Enlighten mint + sunshroom:make a whole row of sunshrooms as they are 25 sun per sunshroom. Then make an enlighten mint as it is free. Now all of the sunshrooms will instantly grow to their max limits and spawn around 500 sun.

for the endurian + spike combo i think its good to put iceweed instead so theyll get damaged while trying to get to endurian
One that's better than bonkchoy, wall nut and Spikeweed is torchwood, wasabi whip and Iceweed. Sure, the fire melts the ice, but the jalapeño effect and high range of wasabi whip combined with a small chill every now and then is better.

those blover combos are vicious
these are all good, but try putting tile turnips under the magnifying grass sice it's plant food is pretty busted when you have a lot of sun producers. It literally obliterates gargs in second with 3 or 4 rows of twin sunfs

Let's be honest here, spike weed and spike rock pair up well with any defense plant, or any plant that can either slow or hold a zombie in a single tile, but I can see why he chose that exact pair

I know this is combo video for free plants but it’s easy to unlock torchwood so use torchwood and spike weed because Torchwood has a lot of defense and does damage like Durian, but when it dies it sets it’s Lane on fire like a jalapeño.

Also, Primal Peashooter and Blover are very common in speedruns. This is the same reason as Blover and Chard Guard.
You can also combine spikeweed spikerock or spikeweed stun plants like kernel pult etc
I must this combinations work most of the time. But it also dependent on the play style you had with these types of plants. But the thing is, ever since that day it began to crash and some issues of the game, i was not enjoying it for the times i've had unlocked all of those World Levels. It is worth to give a try but i'd love to play it more if it were not because of those premium plants or those hard levels the World's had to offer.
An idea for the bonk cult combo if you replace bonk Chou with endurian or tall nut and replace spike weed with spike rock it can do serious damage

I use in infinite levels a pretty strong and complete premium combo made by:
Blockoli in front of all: it can easily stun the rugby boy and make the other plants attack him.
The plant that eats zombies and shoots the head: it can get rid of tough zombies and so the other plants can focus on the other people
And violet vine: it constantly attacks and defends from animals.
You could also buff that Endurian plus Spikeweed combo with a Bonk Chou and a Celery Stalker

1. I would use the garlic, electric currant,and blockoli combo
The garlic would be Infront of the currant to protect and switch lane zombies and the blockoli can block and stall zombies long enough for the electric currant fence to electrocute the zombies
I prefer primal sunflower and magnifying grass because u can plant primal sunflower quicker and its it's gives u 75 sun and the twin sunflower gives 50 twice that is almost the same and you can easily have three lanes of these primal sunflower
Here are some common combos:
Melee based plants with a enforce mint plant in front (bruh intended too),
Shadow plants with moonflower (intended lol),
Enforce mint plant with spikerock/spikerock in front (i mean popcap did it in pvz 1 intro soo also intended),
Enlighten-mint+any plant (omg intended?)
Magnifying + Sunshroom + Stalling Plants Combo is better, Sunshrooms can be spammed and can be meatshield too, and stalling plants will make the level longer and the sunshroom will have a time for growing up
in early game, put atleast 3 column of Sunshroom, stall the zombies and do not kill the zombies too fast
