Oh, thank you! That’s so kind of you. I’m thrilled you appreciate my teaching style. I agree that you can use the pillar for so many possibilities. That is how the cross tutorial on my channel is made also. Enjoy and have a beautiful weekend.
Thank you, I’ve been wearing the one I made in the tutorial and have been surprised at how good it looks dressed up or down. I hope you have a beautiful day and enjoy your beading.
Thank you, I love hearing that you made the pendant plus a second. I think it’s a great “goto” piece when I just want to grab something to put on that seems to go with almost anything. I bet the bracelet looks beautiful too! Very cool. As always I hope you have a beautiful day.
That was awesome, never done pondo stitch before, I was mesmerized watching you teach this otherwise difficult stitch but you made it easy to understand.. I will be attempting to do it tomorrow when it is still fresh in my head, thank you for your beautiful designs and great teaching skills 💕🤩💕🤩
Hi, I think you’ll be surprised how easy this stitch is to do. Enjoy making the pendant and picking out your beads. Thanks for all your kind words and have a beautiful day.
@@TheLittleBeadingCloset you are right, Is was easy and very much enjoyable. I am finished with the pendant part, tomorrow I will finish the rest..almost done, loved this pattern. Thank you so very much for your time and good teaching 💗
I’m really happy to hear this! I tried to find another tutorial with Cubic Pondo Stitch but couldn’t .. it’s such a solid stitch perfect for 3D beading. Enjoy and stay inspired .
Beautiful pendant! I like your relaxed teaching style and clear instructions! Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing your beautiful projects!
Thank you very much, I really appreciate all your compliments and love it that you find my instructions clear and relaxed. As always I hope you have a beautiful day.
Your too kind!! it was so much fun to come up with and I love it that you take the time to reach out and leave me your thoughts. As always, I hope you have a beautiful day
Thank you, I’m so excited to see all the comments about this stitch, cubic pondo stitch that is. & I’m glad to see you like the necklace. Take care and have a beautiful day.
I’ve never seen this stitch before! It reminds me of cubic right angle weave but a bit more complicated! I’ll have to rewatch it a few times so I can “see” where to put each bead… Thank you for sharing! 💜
Hello, yes this is a cubic stitch BUT it is even more structurally sound then the right angle weave version. I guess I’m trying to say that once you make the first cube it can stand on its own and is easy to hold; just making the stitch that much easier to do. I think once you give it a try you’ll “feel” what I’m saying. Thanks so much!!!! I hope you have a beautiful day.
Thank you so much! I have been wanting to learn pondo stitch for a long time. Your instructions and video made it very clear. Thank you for sharing this beautiful project.
Oh my gosh I’m very flattered. I’m always happy to hear that my instructions are clear and helpful. Enjoy the little project and I hope you have a beautiful day.
Awesome, I’d love to know the colors & 3mm choice you made. or you can email me photos; Just checked the description box under the video for my email address. My new video on the Beaded cross uses the same technique and is fun to make too. Thanks for letting me know you love it and I hope you have a beautiful day.
Thank you!!! Please make yourself one when you can. It is a busy time of the year for sure. With Christmas right around the corner. Enjoy picking your color options and I hope you have a beautiful weekend
This piece that you referenced as pondo stitch is Double Craw and was developed in 2019 by beading artist Sabine Lippert. Sabine has a website. I just thought you might like to know.
Thank you for sharing this information with me. I learned how to do pondo stitch from Eureka crystal beads. They have a video Learn how to do the Pondo Stitch w/ Leah. I enjoyed the technique and just played with it from there. I love learning and can’t wait to check out the artist Sabine Lippert. I wish I knew this before. Thanks again and have a beautiful day.
I have only been beading for a few years teaching myself plus learning from tutorials like yours. I have a question that might show my ignorance but I'm not afraid to admit I'm still learning. By the way you are a wonderful teacher! Why are ypu isong darl thread? I myself would have used the crystal clear color on Fireline. Will the dark thread blend in better with the gold or whats the reason? Can't wait for your response
Hi, I think this is a great question. The main reason I use the dark thread is just to try and make it easier to see in the video. Lately I’ve been loving the Beige Wildflire thread with gold beads. If you have a preference for the crystal Fireline there’s no reason why you can’t use it, (it just doesn’t show up in the video as well so I usually don’t use it when filming) I’m flattered that you think I’m a wonderful teacher. I think it’s awesome that you shared a little about your beading journey with me. Thank you and have a beautiful weekend .
Beautiful pendant. Endless creative possibilities! More importantly… your teaching skills are top tier! Thank you for sharing. 🥰
