If they were worth that, they would sell, they’re not. Nobody wants them for any price.
If someone is willing to spend $1,000,0000 on a house that is actually worth $200,000 - that doesn’t make the house worth $1,000,000.
Value is value.
The reality is 99.99% NFTs have ZERO value. Those that actually might have some is still 100% perceived value and not real.
It was a HUGE con game.
Actually, if everyone or at least many people would be willing to buy this house for 1000 000$ even though it's clearly worth less, its value would be 1m. Not that it matters because NFT enjoyers are still very few

The real cool thing about this whole NFT revolution is that now it is possible for people to buy a jpeg for $1,000,000. Even if they are getting scammed, the fact that it can happen at all is really cool from a technological innovation point of view.
Go far back in the past enough and it would have been unimaginable that anyone would buy a jpeg for any amount of cash whatsoever. Now it is possible. Even if the value goes to $0. Even if people lose cash. The fact that there now exists a technology that allows people to buy and sell digital content is really cool.
It is like bitcoin which people are so hyped about. They say it is a digital currency bla bla bla.... and still after 15+ years it still does have any broad use in any significant way except on black markets etc. It is also the only currency I know of that need marketing by tons of people to actually increase in value.
Then look at ETH, guess how Visa & Mastercard are doing their transfers.
That’s the issue. Blockchain isn’t about being money, pump & dump etc. It’s about safe & reliable data transfer for cheap costs (as well as being privacy preserving if paired with ZKPs).
99% of the market is still doing pump & dump, traffic is also heavily influenced by AirDrop farmers, NFT buyers etc

NFTs were never valuable. They were bought up solely on the premise that prices would increase beyond the initial plunge, then you'd be able to pawn them off onto someone else.

If the prices go up it means somebody buys them... They aren't just listing at high prices, look at the volume, and the offers, they can sell it in an instant at slightly lower than the floor price!
You’re not poor if you have valuable NFTs. Essentially it’s like shares it’s credit and you can use them for leverage if I’m not mistaken.

Look up “bigger fool theory” that explains it all, and here are examples of two of them
If all the NFT is, is a JPG. Not worth it. But if that NFT serves as a door to a community with perks or is like key/ticket that gives you something of value that is not just the NFT image, that might be something to consider.

I know what they are and own a few myself but as far as the selling aspect is where things are more Grey. Also the offer is fairly generous, a little too generous, not to sell my awesome art short but I'm always worried about scams.
