It was great but I don’t know why it made me feel super depressed o.O I started to watch tennis around 2000 and this movie made me realised the time has gone. Absolutely love this video. I remember playing so many different characters while practicing at the local college tennis courts in Southern California when I was a junior player. Most of them were horrible at tennis but their love for the game was without reservation. They would be the first people at the courts and the last to leave. Thank you for sharing some of your memories. It is appreciated!

Venus is good at net , and she's my favorite tennis player, however Mcenroe, Navratilova, King, Edberg and Rafter are all better at net than Venus, they grew playing Serve and Volley tennis, Venus grew up being a fantastic baseline player, who invented offense defense with Serena, Nadal and Novak. It is impossible for a player who plays primarily from the baseline can be the greatest player from the net. Although Pete Sampras played serve and Volley, he was known as a baseline player who played serve volley, his net game was not as advanced as Mcenroe, Rafter or Edberg. However he had the greatest Serve of all time, and was able to compete from the baseline with anyone, which most Serve and Volley players could not.
@@aarongravely7039 Well obviously if you are very young and haven't seen serve and Volley tennis, (which came to an end in the late 80's) Venus might be the best player you have seen at the net🤔
I’ve seen the players you're referring to. They are good serve and volley players. That doesn’t mean they have the skills Venus has AT THE NET. Go watch Venus and Serena’s doubles matches and then come back and post just ONE video of Navratilova performing anywhere close to the same level as Venus at the net. Navratilova can serve and volley all she wants…but at 5”8 she doesn’t even have the PHYSICAL EQUIPMENT to play the net like Venus does. Even if I concede that Navratilova has equal touch and reflexives to Venus (which I don’t think she does)…she simply can’t measure up to Venus’s wing span. Nav hits good net shots that she can reach…but she simply CANNOT reach the shots that 6”1” Venus Williams can. My statement stands…I’ve yet to see a better net player than Venus…past or present.

I want to say a huge thank you to you and Serena for driving me on all these years and now as a doctor, I look back at my achievements so far and thank you both from the bottom of my heart for inspiring, for driving me forward and for being role models which I looked up to and continue to look up to ❤️

“Pretty good at the net” may be the greatest understatement of all time… I’ve yet to see a better net player than Venus…male or female.
Venus is good at net , and she's my favorite tennis player, however Mcenroe, Navratilova, King, Edberg and Rafter are all better at net than Venus, they grew playing Serve and Volley tennis, Venus grew up being a fantastic baseline player, who invented offense defense with Serena, Nadal and Novak. It is impossible for a player who plays primarily from the baseline can be the greatest player from the net. Although Pete Sampras played serve and Volley, he was known as a baseline player who played serve volley, his net game was not as advanced as Mcenroe, Rafter or Edberg. However he had the greatest Serve of all time, and was able to compete from the baseline with anyone, which most Serve and Volley players could not.

I’ve seen the players you're referring to.
They are good serve and volley players. That doesn’t mean they have the skills Venus has AT THE NET.
Go watch Venus and Serena’s doubles matches and then come back and post just ONE video of Navratilova performing anywhere close to the same level as Venus at the net.
Navratilova can serve and volley all she wants…but at 5”8 she doesn’t even have the PHYSICAL EQUIPMENT to play the net like Venus does.
Even if I concede that Navratilova has equal touch and reflexives to Venus (which I don’t think she does)…she simply can’t measure up to Venus’s wing span.
Nav hits good net shots that she can reach…but she simply CANNOT reach the shots that 6”1” Venus Williams can.
My statement stands…I’ve yet to see a better net player than Venus…past or present.

That is a signature statement of Mr. Williams. I don’t know him or his daughter but have bumped into him in Compton community park with his daughter & he would often say that his daughters were going to professional tennis players.
I Love y’all’s sister bond. Most people are just use to you & Serena’s bond, but I’ve been following you since you were very young, and I always saw how close you All were. I Love your dad King Richard, but your mom needs her own movie to. She has always seem like such a strong, stern when she had to be, but always Loving Mother🥰
