Hey everyone, I made a playlist dedicated to all the extended versions of Inside Outtakes, you're welcome to check it out, it's on my channel I hope you like it ;3
I love the extended version not only because the existential bop lasts longer, but it also adds a layer to the song that implies the monotony of every day being the same. I also interpret the “Will it ever end? - Yeah When? - Never and Am I hot - No What? - Nothing” as negative self talk that we try to hide from ourselves
Lyrics: Wake up every morning at a quarter to ten, Like, “Am I dying? Is this real? Oh right it’s this again.” I’m awoken by my daughter as she jumps in my bed. I’m only kidding I don’t have a kid, I crochet instead. Am I depressed? (Yeh) Stressed? (Yeh) It’s anyone’s guess. I’ll bother getting better when I bother getting dressed. Is it gonna end? (Yeh) When? (Never) Alrighty then. It’s just another day of hanging with my daughter And I’m living in the future (ah-ah) I’m living in the future (ah-ah) I’m living in the future (ah-ah) I’m living in the future (ah-ah) Make it to the shower by a quarter to one, This bottle shampoos and conditions It’s a 2-for-1. I draw a little doggy on the fog of the glass Just like the ones I used to draw back in geometry class. Am I depressed? (Yeh) Stressed? (Yeh) It’s anyone’s guess. I’ll bother getting better when I bother getting dressed. Am I kinda hot? (No) What? (Nothing) That’s what I thought. I bought an app to help me meditate that didn’t work. I’m living in the future (ah-ah) I’m living in the future (ah-ah) I’m living in the future (ah-ah) I’m living in the future (ah-ah)
honestly i dont get how every song of his is this fucking catchy. i listened to his inside spotify album a hundred times and even his "outtakes" are just as good
I know, he's really deep with a fun twist. Just about all of his songs move me in some way. So glad I found out about him and glad he came back! Thanks Bo Burnham!
Ok, it's summer of 2022. One year since Bo dropped "Inside", the greatest piece of art released during the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic. It encapsulated the helplessness and despair of the period perfectly. Until the release of "Inside", I had no idea he was dealing with anxiety issues. I'm glad he shared that with us and is feeling well enough to provide us with content again. The fact the "content" he provided us was came at the perfect time adds to its periodic significance. You don't need to be a Burnham fan to recognize its beautiful interpretation of life during a global event. An event that every single one of us will remember until the day we die. I think we can all agree, thank you Bo for all your contributions. 👍👍
Quite late, but it’s just a dissociative episode. He crochets, as he says in the song, and just loses himself in some future where he has a daughter who loves him.

Oh. Right. It’s this again.
I'm pretty sure it's the topic that is negative rather than ourselves as a subject

Such a brilliant song about a person trying to grapple with accepting his own mental illness. It hits hard.
who said bo burnham is mentally ill?
He did when he said "am I depressed? Yeah stressed? Yeah"
Wow! Another amazing song that I can relate to. He really makes me think beyond myself. Thanks Bo.
I wished I was dead. Long live the King ✌👌
Me: is it gonna end?

Jesus Christ this fucking slaps - I’m not surprised, giving how magnificent Inside was, crazy how this didn’t even make the cut.
this is an early version of Problematic.
I’m addicted to this
Seriously can’t stop listening to it. That beat is next level.
this is my favourite song from the inside outtakes! it sounds good and is pretty relatable, it's just such a fun song.
Awesome but it's missing the cuts from blue to green on "I'm living in the future," which was dope af 😎
It's. a picture...
@@NeverDieAloneMusic wait... you're telling me... that that was a still image this whole time?
This is the best one
