More often than not, you will get a box with cards you didn’t want, it’s a better investment to just buy cards of players you actually like. It’s fun to buy a box because of the thrill of possibly pulling something, but I would have my expectations low, that way you aren’t disappointed.

Personally, if you’re just starting off and getting into the hobby, I would invest in individual cards or players who you think have a lot of potential. Ebay, surprisingly, has become a good place to shop for single cards over the last few years especially since they authenticate their higher end cards automatically for you(usually anything over $200). Whatnot is also a good app to do live bidding on cards, in more of an auction style. I wouldn’t reccomend going that expensive on a box right off the bat because like you saw in this video, if he hadn’t gotten the Ribery card, he wouldn’t have made his money back. It’s better to invest in young players you like or see potential in.
