- Hey you guys! Today I will be showing you a realistic wash and go. You all know natural’s wash and gos are never a true wash and GO. So I decided to see how my curls would look if I attempted it.

This looks amazing! 😍 You should do this more often. I’ve done plenty of realistic wash n goes. When I’m in a time crunch I don’t have time for all of those extra steps 😂 I usually do the Anthony Dickie method. It’s also helpful to sit under the dryer long enough (maybe 5-10 minutes) to start the drying process and let the the hair air dry for the rest of the day.
My wash and go consisted of detangling, shampoo, condition 2x, don't wash out the 2nd conditioner... and go.

My hair could NEVER look this good without gel, to be honest my hair doesn’t look like this with gel. but I’m willing to try 😂. If i could get half the results you got I’d be happy.

I always do my wash and go’s in the shower before work in the mornings. I love first day hair. It’s a lot faster and more convenient. I also hate the feeling of dripping water on a dry body. I typically just leave some conditioner in, add my gel on top then shake and go! I also love air drying in the summer.
I like that method better than the singling method. The only difference is the time of each method. Very impressive and so simple. Good 👍job!
I do my wash n gos like this ❤️but with no dryer. I just add in a styling product right after leave in.
I’ve done something like this before. Once with the mixed chicks leave in since it has hold. I just washed my hair hopped out the shower and raked the leave in through my hair really fast and went about my day. The other time was in Mexico, I had to end up wearing my natural hair and didn’t have any products so I used the resort shampoo and conditioner in the shower and when i was done applied a little more of the conditioner when I got out to leave in. My hair was so soft and voluminous but the very ends had little coils. I loved the fro I had!

I watch all these natural hair videos and this is all I do. I dry it with a t shirt though since i don’t have a hooded dryer. When my hair was shorter I used gel and stuff but now that it’s longer it just hangs without gel

How do you just finger detangle as soon as you get in the shower😭. I have to pre poo just to detangle it to make the wash so much easier.

Wow I’m early
My realistic wash and go routine: wash, deep conditioning. This is is the most important part: apply the leave-in and styler in the shower soaking wet. Get out the shower, apply your gel in sections while it’s still dripping wet. The results have been perfect every time. Oh and another thing: apply an ungodly amount of product in your hair when your applying the leave-in and styler. Major key. The whole process for me last about 45-50 minutes. Thank me later.
15 minutes?!! Lol my hair will be so tangled it takes me 30 to wash, condition and deep condition.
