LOL Boys, well done. Not trying to be a subject matter expert here, but this might help answer your questions (from someone who has shot a couple of Baldies). 1: They have a massive thick brain box that will bounce a spear / deflect a spear and tear you off. 2: If you have a blunt spear and hit the skull see point 1.3: Use a 7.5mm shaft so it has some KE - Kenetic energy aka some thump! I use twin 16's. But a 7mm shaft on a 1m gun with twin 16's will drop them if you hit them behind the Pectoral fin! 4: They will always try and reef you and wedge the spear against something and tear themselves out. FWIW, aim for the Pectoral fin, when you hit them, chase the spear and get them off the bottom so they have no leverage! LMAO, debating if Baldy is good on the tooth! Oh man that’s heaps of good advice…cheers..we are aware of their hard heads but Travvys shot must have been so close to being perfect…but that’s the thrill of the unknown..we teamed up on it and got it on the boat which was a great Reward
