Get mad if you will but I feel like the people who hate this game are TM2 snobs. And yes Grimm is nerfed in this game but my least favorite Grimm is TM4 no bike and why a pirate?
Small Brawl level design getting some more love these days, appreciate it I had a lot of fun making them.

i always loved Small Brawl, and honestly didnt even know it came out after Black, i actually didnt know many people didnt enjoy this one. i still popped the disc in from time to time when i could, but now the disc is gone unfortunately, just vanished.
i can also agree, the music and endings were amazing here lol
as for underrated, i wouldn't know, i enjoyed every Twisted Metal that came out, excluding 1 and ps3, only because i've never owned them but would like to play them at some point.

@@VicariousNickk Glad you liked the game. Our team was Incognito, with a few single trac guys and me from Vigilante 8. We went onto create Twisted Metal Black Online.
Good game, too slow and floaty though. Using emulation tweaks to make it run faster makes it much more playable, in my humble opinion.
I still have my original copy of small brawl that i bought new on 01. It's somehow still in great shape. I can't wait to replay it. I'm replaying all the twisted metal games.
This game is up there with Black
Honestly had some of the best levels in the entire series

Unlockables Cars notes:
Axel and Darkside ( Difficulty must be set on medium )
Mime : You need to destroy 30 cars on endurance on medium or hard to unlock holiday havoc . Then you also need to play that level on endurance and shoot the four stockings
Trapper : You need to win the tournament on medium with every car ( Axel, Darkside and Mime too )
Piecemeal: You need to win the tournament with Trapper on hard
Of course i'll be watching, Small Brawl is my third favorite out of the series.
But Yeah, i did found it odd that they made this Mortimer a geek at first. but it makes sense due to the fact that a Mortician is a Scientist. so This Mortimer still fits into the Shadow legacy. Also i think you may have forgotten that this Shadow's special can detenate if you believe your going to miss.
They seriously need to bring this series back as well.

Small Brawl was such a blast. Freaking love that game.
I routinely forget this game exists because it's super overshadowed by TM:B
I love Small Brawl, its up there with Black for me as the best 2 TM games.
Man, I did not remember this game looking so much like an early N64 game, but I do remember it being creative and fun with its concepts and maps

i bought this as a kid in 2001 and i loved it lol
I had this game as a kid, I also had Black. To be honest, I liked them both. I enjoy the Twisted Metal games, I had owned 3,4,small brawl and black, but I played 1 and 2 at a friend's house.
I gotta say I really want another Twisted metal game, watching all these videos on the old franchise as brought up some really old nostalgia...
I agree!!! 4 and small brawl are actually my two favorites to play through. It has such a late 90s early 2000s vibe to it i love plus i love games that are set in normal every day locations shrunken down as I love the army man games as well so I really enjoy that aesthetic as well.
You can detonate Shadows special move like a detnoball, you did it by accident earlier in the video. It's great for when you realize he's gonna pass them by
TM Black will always be the best in the series to me but Small Brawl is a close second in my opinion. TM4 is the Easiest TM Game in my opinion
