Don't blame 'em though since the NESTS saga wasn't very well recieved which is not that bad but indeed (story speaking) shit in comparason to what they had previously fed us. 98 pro: most of all the characters of the orochi saga (94-97) along the bosses and EX versions of main teams and special chars, sweet. 98 cons: non canon, what a shame cuz i would have rather have them have, as far as storytelling, a DEUS EX MACHINA, A SECRET SEAL THAT REVIVED EVERYONE KILLED, WHEN OROCHI DIED, ALL THE ONES AFFECTED BY HIM COME BACK TO LIFE, THEY TRAVEL BACK IN TIME 1800 IN THE PAST CUZ OROCHI OPENED UP A PORTAL TO ESCAPE AND NPW THEYRE GOING BACK TO KILL HIM OFF FOR GOOD, IDK,ETC But instead we get,........ Androids,robots,dna manipulation which aren't really that bad of a tale but i humbly believe they're just in the wrong story.

EDIT: Well, Inner Shade is finally given a remix in KOF XV… but it plays against Orochi Shermie instead. Ehhh, close enough. :/
If they can pull off an inner shade that is faithful to this AST like how XV's Goodbye Esaka was, I think I can somewhat forgive them on not adding the ASTs for the DJ station. Guess we'll find out in a few days ^^
