Thanks for answering, I'm really impressed with your knowledge just happened to stumble upon your videos subscription right away I love plants but don't have a bromaliad
Hi Daniel, thanks for that tip…how often should we be cleaning our Bromeliads I have a lot of mosquitoes and I am afraid my Broms help to make them worse…a gardening friend of mine suggest I lightly mist the plant with a weak insecticide solution..what are your thoughts on that method?……thanks for always sharing, I look forward to your vids…Blessings and nuff respect from Jamaica 🇯🇲
If the water in the cup is looking cloudy or has algae/moss it's time for a flush and clean. If you observe mosquito larvae in the cups, use your hose to flush them out. In regards to the insecticide , if you decide to use it , test it on one plant first and observe if it has any adverse effects. Try not to get any in the main cup where the plant gets its nutrients from.
Thank you bro 🙏 just watching and trying to understand but you make a lot of senses with your actions so I understand most of your videos
