I LOVED THIS EP SO MUCH. I LOVED THE SILLINESS TREVOR HAD WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER, HIS SLIGHTLY HIGH PITCHINESS SOUNDS AMAZING! THE ANIMATION LOOKS SO MUCH SMOOTHER. This is the best staff stories episode, however the story telling for kristals episode is still the best.
15:09 I think as a theatre kid the difference between Trevor and Deric’s hosting sticks out more Deric was using more cruel language like mentioning contestants getting hurt, injured, fighting and clawing for their lives The line delivery sounded almost fanatical with how excited he is about contestants getting hurt, the laugh didn’t help at all The teacher’s point was right here it made him unlikeable and cruel Meanwhile with Trevor he comes across as more likeable and tongue and cheek actually interacting with his hosting partner He also only mentions backstabbing an alliance member, no mentions of people getting hurt from the challenges the host created And with moose he’s just a chill down to earth dude that makes puns

I actually don't know, there was this thing about characters having to be friends or something in order to get greetings together, probably to prevent canon-breakings things like Maggie forgiving Yul or stuff like that. as much as I loved this episode, jensens episode will always solo all of them. His episode had good flashbacks and I loved how it was still in the moment yet also having a good plot with his younger self. It shows so well what happens to Jensen when he’s younger without saying it, I love Trevor sm he’s my favorite character but jensens episode was just amazing in my opinion
I think the moose and derek first audition could have been a good-cop bad-cop sort of thing, where you’re supposed to like one person more than the other, but i guess not
There is one main thing that confuses me with this episode. In the S2 opener (first 30 second of E1), Kristal mentioned the show had to changed it’s canonically due to legal issues. That changed name is apparently Disventure Camp. If that is the case, why are Derek and Trevor coming up with that name?
When i was around 6 i wore glasses, but i got an operation to my eyes when i was 8/9 and now i dont have to wear glasses anymore. So its possible thats why Trevor doesnt wear them anymore, or he wears contacts

Admittedly, this is my least favorite episode. I was wasn’t fan of the present time jump, or if they did that, I wished it would have been regarding S4, like this is where the deleted scene of S4’s new location of the Derek and Trevor finding that carnival got added. Also, those two accidentally kissing like that kinda took away the point of why they kissed in E18 of DCAS. If they went for that, I almost wished they were more demoing the kissing challenge (to note that it was Derek’s idea first), and part of the reason they pitched got throw out was how inappropriate the demo challenge was (like indirectly bringing up Fiore, or even Riya and Connor or even Lill and Nick from beta) Out of the episodes, I felt like the Derek and Trevor episode could have been used to better connect other spinoff episodes including the first episode of the Tom and Jake spinoff better than just seeing Tom and Lucia onscreen at the end of the episode.
Personally, I wished the episode was more Tom and Lucia interrogating Derek and Trevor in prison regarding the show getting canonically sued. With the side of the story, it would reveal how the McClane’s snaked their show from them both very deceptively (from Kristoff) and unknowingly (from Kristal)
For some reason, Trevor sounds very different to me versus in the show. I was afraid for a second that it was another VA. No one can replace you @Sillybillyduck Were you trying to make him sound a little younger since it's him in college?
