Excellent move on bunching the ends up before skidding to the landing. Also, I try to take all my limbs off after the trees hit the ground. Way better for skidding. Not so messy. And yes....I do this in real life for a job. 🙂

Cool beans man! I think you should make an attachment that attaches to a tractor to park down at the bottom of the hill. And then run your yarder line from the crane to the attachment. The attachment should have a way to dig into the ground to keep from pulling the tractor up with it. But awesome man!! Oh make the yarder line only 500ft long.
It is a great machine, I used it a lot! The only bad thing is the weight, if you load it on a trailer... the trailer wont move. (But ofcourse the weight is needed to not tip over) It made logging easy!
Would be sweet to see a Skagit Yarder or something like the old school tube tower yarders. This reminds me of the Thunder Bird yarders that where popular for a while in the PNW in the 90's. Love the work you guys are doing
I can't wait till this comes out.. now I know the boom doesn't move bit would there be any possibility in like an "x" to fold to make transport a little bit better?
It would be nice to have a way to get out from that skyline and the cab, Like E to get out of the cab and Ctrl to get out of the skyline? Other wise Great mod can't wait to get out and use it!
i cant seem to get this yarder on any trailer, if i have a lock load trailer when i lock it i am not able to pull the trailer and any normal trailers it will glitch off
Can you make one in european style, with one tower and mounted on the truck. Check out european skyliners, they are more compact esier to move and can have a procesor head on it

yeah i ended up discontinuing it because of those issues
FDR Logging but the weight doesnt change the fact it is one of the best mods I have used.
