Bert the miniature engine suffers from steaming troubles while also being stalked by a potentially dangerous spirit from the past…
So after over a year of rewrites and planning, here it is, Guard From Hell, in its entirety. I’m really proud of how this one turned out, and consider this to be the single best episode of Sodor’s Supernatural. For now, anyway ;) I hope you’ll enjoy it, as I had a great time making it for you all. Major shoutout to the wonderful cast, they all did fantastic and this video wouldn’t be half as good without them. Also, huge thanks to @TPJ. for making this amazing thumbnail, cannot thank him enough for that.

A bit of a theory i have for the small controller and atlas's driver is that those who once worked with the guard from hell are in league with him. Like he visited them separately and made a deal with them.
The small controller lied about berts overhaul so he could get him ready for the guard to take him.
And the man who wanted to talk to atlas's driver and left him to burn. So maybe the accident was on purpose.
Maybe even leaving bert on the bridge was on purpose, to prepare him for the guards visit.
R.I.P for Bert and Atlas. ✝️

actually, the mine engines are not named. Atlas and Alfred are a separate engine from the mine engines.
Or had the guard just jumped clear when seeing an engine coming barreling at him clearly with nowhere near enough room or time to stop as it's not like it happened just after a bend
to be fair trains aren't like cars so when a train is travelling at high speed it takes longer to stop so depending on how fast Atlas was going there was no way for Atlas to stop in time when He and His Crew saw the cars in front of Them so I think the Guard could've jumped out of the brake van before it was struck by the goods train or there could've been a signal to stop the train that was following Them and if There was a signal that displayed a stop aspect then the accident would've never happened

You know, when I was reading the script before recording the line, I didn't give much notice to it, like sure, it was a spooky story, stuff like that. But when the final product got released... Jesus Christ that took an unexpected turn. Heck, I actually felt uneasy while watching it.
Brenden, you've really blown out of the water here! And thank you for letting land a small help here.

one thing I love about your work is your not afraid to take risks, for the longest time it felt like this was just another spooky story with a ghost spooking an engine but now we’ve come to this
THIS is what true Sodor Supernatural is, though a part of me feels the guard was brought in by Berts fears. He knew his time was drawing to a close
I must say DoorKnob123 has an incredible voice, his shouts sent chills down me, it was really nice to see The Chilling Cutting and this within the span of 24 hours. They both have their own beauty and now all I can see is 1020’s face turning and a guard standing nearby in my head

In the books, it was revealed that he had an overhaul in the story, I guess he never got that chance in this universe as he got the overhaul after Jock was built.
Truly the BEST episode of sodor supernatural, real fear and real death makes it scary! This is you best work yet! Also, Atlas’ Voice Actor put so much effort into his role; that scream at the end felt so much emotion in it!
I found this to be a depressing yet amazing film! You not only had the guts to kill off a main character, but you also ended the story on a pessimistic note. The guard's soul prowls about the Island of Sodor, seeking out the mentally weakest engines to exact his revenge.
What's interesting is how the guard knows it was an accident, but continues to revel in the fact that his life was ended by a steam engine. He himself may have had a low self-esteem in his lifetime, and maybe that's why he stayed in the brake van instead of checking to see what the commotion was. He had plenty of time, and now he's using his own actions as a means of justification to destroy other engines.
If this episode is ever followed up on, I hope that the guard is somehow banished back to hell, since he cannot obtain peace with his residing there. God bless you, RhenProd, and thanks to you and the crew for an awesome piece of TTTE fandom media! Regards, Joseph trainonthetrack. 5/9/2023

At the beginning, it seems ooc for Duck to believe in ghost stories, he's always been a very logical type of engine.

I’ve seen a lot of dark/spooky Thomas content, and I think this is one of the best. I don’t think I’ve ever genuinely been scared by Thomas videos but this went through me… Stella work! Love the dread and build up and the pure evilness of the guard

@@Kishanth.J In a previous episode he and his train vanished without a trace while making a night-time delivery of supplies to Ulfstead. Which - coincidentally or not - according to the map of Sodor is relatively close to the parts of the old Mid Sodor Railway furthest inland.

I wonder if that guard had a hand in Toby's disappearance considering how close Ulfstead is to the inland-most section of the old Mid Sodor Railway. And, now that I think about it, that hiker that went missing on the Culdee Fell Railway.
Edit: and the engine from the first episode who I assume is the one we get told about in the TV series episode Duncan Gets Spooked and whose name I'm blanking on right now, but that would make sense too since the Skarloey Railway, particularly the more inland sections, would be close to the Mid Sodor's inland parts as well
So basically the guard did what he did to Bert and atlas because he wanted revenge after what atlas accidentally did

Atlas's voice actor look similar as Terrance Nicholson's voice animation.
His story is amazing marvelous work just two questions, 1-.Where is Andreas in this story he is on of the main reasons the guard was killed?, 2-.Is Bert really dead or he was unconscious?
Bert's probably dead, considering Frank declared him so and he was under the water for so long. As for Andreas, it's a gamble. What happened was an accident but who knows how the guard would've dealt with him, maybe there will be a sequel of sorts.
The guard needs to be killed or exorcised. He is a demon in human skin!

This can't be cannon to the Railway Series as this is supposed to take place before Jock's built but here Bert dies before he arrives.
um if there was two engines' on the line they would be 10minets apart according to the raill way roles and practices that were in place so this shoad not have killed him as he whad of gotten out of the brake van before anything could happen unless the other train was breaking time table roels.
