cause rowena ravenclaw comes form albania/scotland samething and albania's animal is an eagle. Rowena was albanian royalty and alba from albania is actually another word for scotland and so she lived there so she was scottish/albanian royalty. The diadem was her crown and she just enchanted it.

@@giannasussy8772 so, in the books Ravenclaw's colors are actually blue and bronze, but the movie changed it to silver so majority of our merch is silver and people often think silver is one of our colors. The movie also did that by changing Ravenclaw's house animal to a Raven instead of an Eagle.

I said this in another thread but I'll put it here too:
Gryffindor and Slytherin have gold and silver, representing nobility and the fact that Gryffindor is "better" than Slytherin (for the sake of the story, don't kill me).
Hufflepuff's accent colour is black which reminds me of cast-iron. This metal is not valuable in the monetary sense, but everyone depends on it for things they use around the house (cauldrons, fire tools, cookware, etc.). Everyone depends on Hufflepuff for their loyalty, and the fact they hold Hogwarts together like glue. There'd be no Hogwarts without Hufflepuff.
Ravenclaw has bronze because throughout British and Irish history, the monks were the only people who could be guaranteed to be educated in reading and writing. The same monks crafted bronze jewellery and weapons that they wouldn't have known how to craft without their education. The monks educated the nobility (in Ireland) and would gift them with bronzeware upon completing their education. Bronze metal and education/wisdom went hand-in-hand in those times.
Even before the monks arrived in Ireland, the pagan druids valued bronze just as highly and used it in the same ways.

I’m just imagining a ravenclaw comes up and the question is super hard, so they wait for the next ravenclaw to come try, but they can’t answer it eaither. 5 hours later and you have a cluster of like 50 ravenclaws at the door waiting to answer, then someone inside opens the door to get out and sees all these other people. Why is it the Eagle btw?
Raven means also "Black" so Ravenclaw is "Black Claw". The eagle has black claws. The symbol is the eagle, because is the animal that flies above all the others, has a great sight, and can watch things from the best prospective. So it is linked to the house traits: Intelligence , wisdom , sharpness, wit, individuality. They got it wrong in the movies, so they used a raven as Ravenclaw symbol. Changed the colors for no reason: the blu (of the sky) and bronze (of the eagle
plumage), became blu and grey.

I like these videos even though I was sorted into Hufflepuff and not Ravenclaw like on Pottermore. The Hufflepuff video is more fitting to my personality. Every test I take I am sorted it into either house. So I firmly stand behind the fact that I am both.

Actually it has, when put and combined in lower or higher dimensions.
