Depth of discharge does not mean every time 50% loss. Rather it means that you are able to draw 50% of stored energy. Remaining 50% will be retained in storage. However charging and discharging loss is there which should not be more than 10 to 20% maximum. Rest of analysis is fine.

Yup. Its just a recommendation because you loose capacity quickly if you discharge more than 50%. Also an important factor is discharge rate. Manufacturers recommend 20h discharge for tall tubular batteries. Which is much lower than our actual discharge in solar application.
Bhai, agar truck ki battery k 300 cycle ap k hisab say lay liya jaye to uska Matlab yeh hua k truck ki battery aik Saal he chalay gi, jab k Meray pass truck ki batteries 2.5 years chali hain, aur ab tubler batteries Meray pass pichlay 4 saal say chal rahi hay. Daily charge hoti hay, aur pure solar par hay. Theory say ziada practical par believe karain.

The problem with Lithium ion batteries is that you have to maintain a certain temperature where you have installed these batteries. Otherwise batteries might explode or damage. Please consider sharing this information also in your next video. also, what a person should do if they have installed lithium ion batteries. Thanks

Once you have charged a tall tibular battery with let's say 10 units, you can recoup let's say half of it. That does not mean that the next or after every 3 days, you will have to put in 10 units from the get go. You only have to put in the same 5 units to get it hack to same voltages. This is the first I have noticed you make a mistake and I believe a clarification is in order for sincerity's sake
Yes, there are inherent energy wastages to charging, but that is true for both types of batteries, and only amount for barely double digits percentages

Bhai Dry battery is actually AGM... not dry. There is a Gel like material rather than liquid acid between the plates. And 2nd type of dry battery is actually Sealed lead acid... maintenance free, where you don't have to top up.
All these types are lead acid.
If you are buying one, with the label of dry battery, make sure that is AGM, not SLA.
AGM Battery which are also calleed VRLA, VS LifePO4 needs to be compared also.
AGM also have 10 plus years life.

At the moment Tall Tubular batteries are good choice in low budget. If you have Net Metering.
Get basic affordable 145 ah batteries, use only for load shedding. Use only for lights and fans. (500 to 800 watts max). Charge the batteries with Solar 750 watts to 100% and charge batteries with electricity 200 watts to 80%
5 years plus life is very much possible if maintained accordingly.
Total cost 4 batteries 16000 rs
During load shedding these batteries will easily give you backup from 6 to 8 hours on 500 watt load

I am sorry to say, but I expected his video to be based on some good technical information. Apart from 2-3 basic things, they have provided incorrect information as if a layman talks about the battery comparisons, which is often based on stories and immature experiences from others. A true analysis can only be done the person who has done the profiling of tall tubular batteries. If they did that and still talk like this, then I am surprised.
In short: Tall Tubular are much better in the existing scenario from cost-effectiveness point of view. If someone wishes to know why then please mention in points whatever these guys said about tall tubular and lithium batteries and I will reply to those points.

Lithium batteries gives very short back up as compared to tall tubular batteries of same capacity.
But in lithium, when you utilize it's 90%, then you'll have to recharge for 90% obviouuon more cost
In tubular batteries, one has to do full charge again to get 60% discharge.

These are sll theoratical analysis. The qaulity of lithium battery available in Pakistan is very inferior. After 3 years lithium batteries are giving trouble due defects. In one case it was exploded. Which betu dangerous for himan lige and propety.
