Splendid!! I LOVE IT when an organist employs all the available manuals with diverse registrations! I play a II and wish it were at least a III. At college I was privileged to play a IV/75 Casavant, and was spoiled terribly.
Love, love. Must be the smallest but most crisp sounding Cavaillé-Coll organ I've heard and I've heard 4 Parisian ones in person! This piece simply doesn't sound the same on most classic American organs.
I am a great fan of the works of Eugene Gigout and i think your performance is absolutely wonderful ! The registration is perfect and the speed at which you play is just right. Thank you for this amazing performance !!!
This was the perfect start to my day. I have loved this piece since I first heard my teacher play it some 50 years ago, and don't think I have heard it on a recital since. You brought wonderful elan to it!
WONDERFUL and breathtaking performance, Richard !! And magnificent Cavaillé-Coll organ and fantastic composer (I'm french so the combo Gigout + Cavaillé-Coll is fantastic !!) Thanks for what you do !
Fabulous!!! I’ve always loved this piece and really enjoyed how you make it dance and sing - congratulations to Sam on this new sampleset. It sounds remarkable!!! Fantastic introduction!!!
Love the sound and the performance is so well done. Great registration. I love seeing your hands on the keys and feet on thee pedals. You make it look so easy!! Thank you!
What a great job, both the playing and filming are a real top drawer performance, and 10 out of 10 for the organ sounds which really suit this piece. Thank you for sharing it.
I love this piece and so well played by yourself with the correct registration. The only other recording I have of it is by Dr. Francis Jackson from York Minster in 1973 and since then I always associated it with the Minster.
As usual this performance was perfect I have to reference those feet how swiftly and effortless they glide across those pedals this musical work was also genius like you!
Wonderful sample set. Nice performance. I love that scherzo. I noticed you have new shoes. They look custom made. The shoes look a lot like driving shoes for Gran Prix racing🏁(minus the heals of course). How are the shoes working out for you?

That was my first time hearing the Gigout Scherzo. What a cute composition. Nicely done Richard.
Love this piece! Great performance on a great sounding Cavaillé-Coll sample set.
Gigout, wow, I was playing it too fast. 🥁 Love that flute that reaches upwards and finishes the phrases - and then I listen for more of them.

A fun piece!😊👍
It sort of reminds me of water.
First a little babbling brook and the a large river!
Expertly played as usual!❤️💯🌹
Loved the organ and registrations. You’re so talented, Richard. Let’s all dance!
Didn't know this piece. It's very joyful 😊 Thank you, Richard, for introducing we novices to different works.

Gorgeous sound and playing.
A delightful piece presented on a very nice organ sample.
I loved the slightly slower tempo compared to other's renditions, the piece has a real feeling of buoyancy about it. Enjoyable to listen to.
Found the church on Google Earth it's beautiful and the surroundings are lovely.
Richard,Thank You for this marvelous uplifting Irish Jig
Enjoyed your performance. This organ really does sound amazing. Hoping to hear it again soon.
Woohoo thanks for the lovely video! Also thanks for choosing me as one of the recipients of the Call For Composers book giveaway!!

Absolutely stellar performance!

That was beautifully played and orchestrated! A very lovely and joyful work and expertly played.
That does sound amazing! I can't wait for that sample set to be available. Also, nice shoes!
Excellent. I enjoyed this soooo much!

Wonderful playing, Richard. This recording really captures the vastness of the space.

We must give thanks to God for so much beauty, what a beautiful performance, it r to the marrow of memories, I love this colpositor
Wonderful performance!
Oh! Sounds nice. Not too processed, not too big an acoustic. Sign me up, Sam!
Really beautiful congratulations 😊
Sounds beautiful, Sam obviously knows how to record these samples.
He’s one to watch!
I agree, the quality of these samples is superior
Very well done!👌
Love the sound of this organ. I would recommend you use it for a recital this Saturday and for VC on Sunday.
It’s not being released until a few weeks’ time as there are still some tweaks to be done to it
thank you sam!!!
Great job richard😊😊😊
Sounds great, can we have a picture of the console as that would make the experience more satisfying.
In the sample set it already exists, and looks really good IMO, then again I am somewhat biased! I'm very pleased you like the sound of it
Could you do more recordings with this sample set? It’s warm and powerful.
Wonderful sample set. Nice performance. I love that scherzo.
I noticed you have new shoes. They look custom made. The shoes look a lot like driving shoes for Gran Prix racing🏁(minus the heals of course). How are the shoes working out for you?
I love them! They’re made by a British company called Supadance and I can highly recommend them. I’ll do a video on them soon
👍
Excellent phrasing and musicianship! ... Also, where did you get your organ shoes? - They're cool
They're from a company in England called Supadance
Supadance should pay you a commission!
I love 💗 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮the organist what’s the name?❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It’s me!
The organ shoes look like they are tight fitting. Where did you aquire them?
They are Supadance practice shoes. I love them very much
