My parents had an old album with all his music , I can remember when my mom and I would sit down with the boxes of Christmas decorations and fix the broken ones, and listen to the music. The aroma of the baking she used to do . I miss those days and the memories. Virgil Fox was such a great musician.
Virgil Fox was a master organist. It is sad that we do not hear Mr Fox' level of virtuosity today. This is another fine example of the quality Christmas albums, be they secular or sacred, that were released during the 1950s and 60s.

Yes. This is Riverside as it was in the 1950's, before the additions and changes made by Frederick Swan in the 60' and 70's. In my humble opinion, Virgil and Aeolian-Skinner had it right.
