A lot of westerners, like me, will look at this and see all the less than ideal methods and tools, whilst ignoring just how hard it is to weld cast aluminium with a torch. Let alone welding old, corroded, oily cast alloy on top of a cast in iron liner. The machining is a bit rough and ready, but he has serious gas welding skills!! 😎😎
