I totally get the tailored fitted suit, blazers, and especially with older guys wearing clothes that fit properly NOT TO LOOSE and NOT TO TIGHT just a comfortable fit. But this modern fashion generation is going absolutely fitted crazy .
CARGO PANTS, CARPENTERS and JOGGING PANTS were designed to be relaxed for a reason. To either hold tools in pocket, or to be able to exercise with true comfort. It looks silly wearing those things tight. BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE.
As you know fashion goes around in a circle, can’t wait to hear what you will say when the fashion decides they’re had enough of tight fitting clothes what are not designed to tight.
Other than that keep up the good work you have a good positive energy.

What brands do you recommend for linen pants? also should those be athletic fit as well?
I used to wear nothing but jeans for years, then I discovered chinos! I almost prefer them now to jeans as they generally feel more comfortable, especially in warmer weather. But for some reason I can't get into formal trouser styling. Im just not use to wearing suits but the older I get the more I feel like I should.. Jeff, can you offer any advice on how to break into this type of menswear without feeling awkward? I think its the shoes, I'm either trainers or boots, neither which i feel suit that look.
start with trousers and some shoes that are dressier such as loafers, monk straps, and wing tips

Good video man. I believe you are right on. I have everything on your list except the cords at this point. Being fro Detroit, they used to be a staple, old school back in the day. Now in Houston, haven't yet considered cords. Wear mostly chino's or jeans. Lenin in summer, especially for travel. Appreciate your update. At least I know I'm in the ballpark with my closet.

Only two I don’t rock are the corduroy and the joggers. I wear the joggers around the house but not out and about. Mainly as I don’t wear tennis shoes lol. Chinos are my "go to" choice to work in the office. I have several colors and they are professional and not too stuffy. Great choice, looks great and don't cost too much.

Jeff, this time I'm glad you included corduroy. The joggers and cargos are features as any of the pants mentioned could be joggers or cargos. Whereas the other pants on the list were solid fabric and weave alternatives to denim. Instead how about a moleskin pant or a tech pant? All in all a great list👍

Congrats on 200k well deserved, salute. Good video. I have chinos, jeans and wool trouser just loved them. I am now after linen ones next, but a big no to cargo pants just doesn't fit my style,but each to they own. I always importantly rotate my cloths, so I am not stuck in any one look or style.
