Set after the Maria incident Marcus & Dom decide whether to sneak into Nexus dressed as Therons or just to go in "Guns Blazing". - Ігри
Its a real shame epic games went from such a badass game to fortnite

@@mshat18 it would be alright but kait is just a weird choice for protagonist with in connection to delta squad, plus in the trailer she's just kinda rude and doesn't have the connection with her squad like delta did
I think they deleted it because people would point out the fact that Locusts would know that their guns glow an Orange color, and their faces would be noticeable as Humans too. Locusts aren’t dumbasses.
It wouldn't really work in co-op. Most of the time in gears the ai in game are stupid as fuck when in the cutscenes they're smart, so it wouldn't really be too out of ordinary.

He was bender in Futurama, Jake the dog in Adventure time, Shnitzel in Chower (lol he says one word in that show over and over), and he does a bunch more characters and extras on shows. If you wanna laugh your ass off, go on youtube or the internet and search for "Talkin Toons John Dimaggio". It's a podcast hosted by other voice actor legend Rob Paulsen and theres a few episodes with John. This guy is hilarious

I can see why they might not have wanted a stealth section on this part of the game, but I do like the overall choice and the way they deal with Doms grief. You either let him have the catharsis of slaughtering the locusts, or you can have him pull back and become more aware of the situation, not losing himself and going with the more tactical plan while in enemy territory
I've actually got the action figures of them in Theron armor. The detail's pretty sweet, too.

I love how if you choose the stealth option, you're able to see how the locust still behave so humanlike. They just walk around aimlessly, sometimes shove each other around, and growl in frustration when you activate one of the "distraction" valves.
I got so invested that I almost forgot that their main plan was to drive humanity into extinction

Read the title of the video. Cliff Bleszinski even explains it at the beginning. It was part of the Dark Corners DLC.
Still don't understand why they took this out I would of appreciated it more if they had kept it in
Well they did keep it , but you have to pay for it as DLC ( a bit shitty i know)

I think it's very coo that you wear theron armorl but the atmosphere wasn't right because of maria dying.

January 2008 was the first time I play Gears of War 1 with my friends, then that year in november Gears of War 2 come out and I love it, and played a lot after arrived from the High School, I've been 16 years that year. Now, 2019 I've had 26 years, and I download Gears of War 2 and god, I love it again. Feels like a travel to the past, I missed to much this game and that time (when Gears of War and Halo ruled) now, If i play Fortnite and start to shoot someone they start to building. I still playing this awesome game (My favorite from Gears collection) I still playing in local and against the bots and sometimes whit my friends but hey, still being awesome.
Fun fact, the guy voicing Franklin voiced Joker in Batman: the Red Hood (I think that’s the name? Or is it “Death in the Family?) Either way, nice to hear that voice.

if they do a remake of Gears of War 2 i hope they add this in, it was a important part of the story after all....

Several reasons this doesn't make sense.
1) Dom simply takes the Theron helmet from Marcus, and they both walk away from the Therons' bodies.
2) They change out of their COG armour and into the Locust armour, but once they've rescued Franklin, their COG armour magically appears again.
3) The Locust may be dumb enough to be fooled by Marcus and Dom's exposed faces, but Franklin didn't notice that either...
4) It's miraculous that the Therons' armour just happens to perfectly fit Marcus and Dom.
Well yeah you got good points. But there is also that this was just like the initial idea. Maybe they were gonna fix that stuff, but since they didnt implement it in the game, this is what was left of the initial idea

the cutscene always plays in the game, however Dom automatically suggests going guns blazing and the actual gameplay segments from the "deleted scene" aren't available in the main campaign.
I've been playing gears of War since 2006 and still am I beat every single game and so high of a level on multi-player and on horde

They need to remaster this game like they did Gears 1. And they should add this mission onto it; then soon after they should release Gears 3 remastered to complete the trilogy, but stop there.
2023. Just replayed the game on hardcore. Forgot what this was so I looked it up here. Glad they didn’t keep this in the game. Better without it. It’s a little silly. All these years later the game still aged pretty good. I enjoyed replaying it
Having Dom get sarcastic at you after failing stealth so many times is hilarious in this deleted scene right next to Franklyn bitching.
Question, did any human try, becoming one if the locust? Like they wanted to become one of them? "I surrender to the locust, I want to be you, I want to serve your queen" wouldn't that have saved more lives that way, and brought peace between up humans and locust?
