One day when I’m well enough to work, since going to school three days a week leaves me too fatiguée to not sublux my joints, this will probably be my first pat palette. Idk if I like the mothership v more though.
Mothership V is definitely more pow wow. But I think not ideal for someone diving into Pat for the 1st time. Bronze Seduction is definitely a veteran palette 🤣
I love that there's a shade named Velouria since that's the name to one of my favorite songs. I hope it comes to her website, I just bought 2 of the quads and Midnight Sun but this color story is too hard to resist.

Same. I’ve only missed one palette ( pink holiday 6 pan) because I had my fill of gold having bought her metamorphosis everything kit. I was also salty I paid $55 for the other six pans before the sale( then she hiked the price 😂) -, but now I see why she included it because when you link the 6 pans to the quads and then to the motherships it’s heaven. Never missing out again. Periodt.

Hi Ms KInky you are the best the most informed on cosmetics. very kind funny ., Im just waiting for it to be released on Pats website. I dont know what you think but how this divine rose has been released so far. There is a lot of very faithful Pat lovers who are so devoted and sped a fortune , its not fair for so so many of us sitting here with our thumbs stuck uh you get the idea where they are stuck lol lol. I personally have not ever seen such a poorly thought out release of a new palette. Just my opinion here nothing ill intended . This was to be just for the UK ladies first a special release to them with the Divine Rose . Why wasnt this left as a treat to the ladies of the UK before anybody else. Im from the USA orginally and now live in Sydney and it is different getting makeup here . We are NEVER exclusive or first to get a darn thing, its always the USA first . Some of the lines like Nars for instance we may not get all of the new release due to a certain ingredient or the company just thinks we dont need it, no joke , with Naked Cherry release they wouldnt send us the blush palette that was part of the new items. I have to send $ to my friends pay pal account and get her to buy me somethings and ship over to me.Mecca a large store here like a big Sephora sells a lot of the big brands, but in doing so they asked all the companies to block us from Nars, ABH, Stila , HUda, Hourglass, Too Faced etc etc so we cant get on any of these sites and buy anything . They see we are from Australia by our internet or our credit card and we cant buy S**T from them. now thats not fair . The USA gets first choice, first stab at everything. i do miss having that ease of shopping.

Pat is notorious with the repeats. I learned that a while ago and admittedly I was mad about it. I just hope that this is not a trend that other brands start doing. All that said I most likely will get this but not for the $170 Canadian that we Canucks have to pay. Will wait for a serious sale (Black Friday I am saying your mantra) or just try to snag one of those $100 rouge rewards from Sephora.
I don't mind a few repeat shades. I think of palettes as curated color stories - all the shades work together, so I don't have to think too hard about swapping palettes to create a look.
I don't like the iridescent pink shade. And I wish she didn't have a gold in every palette though.

Is there a video explaining the different textures in the Mother ship palettes? I've found that if I just apply her products with my fingers it comes out exceptional and that includes her foundation.
This palette looks like an amped up, much better quality version of the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette!

Hey Alicia! Oooh, I'm so glad I never picked up Huda's New Nudes palette. I'm a cool-toned lover, & this hits me right in the feels; "Lovelace" (the lavender-taupe metallic) is just😍. How does it compare to the Divine Mink single? I assume DM is darker & more smoky-taupey? PS- I think that VR Rose Venus would look AMAZING as a highlighter/blush topper on you!

Hi Alicia! I don’t even have to think about this, I am definitely getting Divine Rose. The only other Mothership that I own is Midnight Sun (which I love) so I don’t have any of the “repeat” shades except for Astral Solstice. I am actually thrilled that’s in the palette bc I already have anxiety over ever running out of that shade, lol, it’s that stunning. I have the Rose Blitz quad and this palette is going to go so well with it too. I CANNOT WAIT for this!!! Thank you so much for the review, you lucky girl! Hope to see more looks from this palette.

Anothe word on the repeat shades: she used to repeat all of the black shades in her palettes! Or other ones in the first 3 palettes. I'd rather have a repeat shade that applies to the color story than another black. Anyways, people will always be mad about something.

Most of the palettes are too rich in pigmentation for me to wear daily. But this beauty, I think it will work forever for me. And that VR shade, I am near tears. Why? Hysteria....

Maybe it was just me or a trick of the camera but the repeat shades looked a little different. I mean the Shane Dawson release repeats a shade in the two palettes so repeats are nothing new. I am going to watch Morgan’s video to see it in her skin tone but so far I’m in. I was so bummed that it was sold out.
I was thinking the same! Again, I know the shades from my older palettes probably don’t have as much punch because of the shelf life. Who knows!

Looking on the Sephora Au website now (8/11) and the Mothership VII no longer listed. They may have had a limited number of units and is already sold out. I’ve double checked my order and it’s in transit, yay! You can never trust you have an item unless it’s shipped - Good luck - I hope they get more stock soon.
I’m going to get this because I, too signed that contract, but I really want another palette like subversive with unique and interesting colors. I really love her textured, glittery shadows and I hope she does another palette featuring those formulas with more interesting colors.

I’ve been waiting for a palette with more mattes. My hooded eyes don’t love shimmers. But this more cool toned palette just might open my wallet.
