From 0:46 and on gotta love how you (unintentionally) came up with Dying Light's soundtrack 6 years before the game came out, haha. The EMX might be an older tech but amazing, feels more solid than computer programs IMO
honestly one of the most bad ass tunes ive heard in a long time. you really need to tap into jungle more. also i learnt your presets are on electribes! nice!!
I have known this track for years now, and commented on it before, but I just have to do it again. This keeps being my absolute favorite drum&bass track of all times. Can't stop coming back for more. You are God. Huge respect Soundrookie.
This is very impressive. I am planning to buy an emx to make live hardcore/tekno, and I was unsure whether it has good drums in it. Now I know it does :)
You are the reason why i bought my self a emx!I saw your Video years ago and i never saw something like this bevore. Now i make music too but till today i never reached you level of jungle skill😅 i'm better in the deep liquidfunk way 😁😋👌
One thing additional point is the two analog tubes in the MX --- yes, we are talking about crystal /electron tubes! Tthey are quite amazing at beefing up the output sound of the Electribe MX and the potentiality to thicken or add tranistor punch to other devices sounds connected to the audio is what we call added value --- now if I could just get it to wash & fold my laundry!
I just ordered an emx! So pumped that there are amen type samples on it! I love "jungle" or whatever you want to call fast breaks! I don't know much about the genres and stuff I just like squarepusher and things like him. Anyways this sounds great!
I have already commended on this track months ago, but I keep coming back for more. Mryat shouldn't by any chance mean god(?), because this track is divine. Think I'm hooked for lifetime.
this is simply AMAZING...put it on myspace...seriously!! i'll add you as a friend!! that way you can listen to my band's stuff once we get to record it :)
I absolutely love this track. Man, it rocks!!! If the sound quality wasn't so poor on UA-cam, I would put it in my mp3 player and bang my head till it fell off. Speaking of soundquality, you should consider putting this on MySpace. The sound is much better there. I stopped putting the music I make on UA-cam after I discovered the difference. But back to the music: Keep it coming, we need more of this.
@mrpeanut25 One of the best examples of jungle is "omni trio - renegade snares". the drums are lighter, the bass mostly in the sub range and usually has euphoric moments. this is drum and bass because of how heavily compressed the drums are and the dark and snarling bass lines. It is true that jungle eventually turned in to DnB and there was a period of time where you could hardly tell what was what, but DnB has come a long way into it's own and is now clearly distinguishable from Jungle.
It's a hard thing to describe. A compressor (this is a very rough description) is an audio device that has an audio level threshold. Any incoming audio that goes above this threshold is automatically pushed (or compressed) down to whatever the other settings dictate it to go to. It's good for making breaks pop, but when a break is overcompressed it sounds odd. The initial snap of the break is very loud whereas the rest of the drum sample is much lower in volume. Look up compressors for more info
compressing is to level out the lows and highs in the volume range. e.g. things that you could not hear as loudly become louder, and things that were louder become quieter. it gives it a lower dynamic range.
The term jungle is used to describe this style of music, but no one can be 100% where the term came from, but it is assumed that it was taken from reggae and dancehall slang.
usually we push mute button and part button to mute the part. to mute "all" drum (or synth) part, it can be done to push mute button and "shift button" and part button!! ...sorry, i'm not good at english
I still come back to this video. Still a banger!
This is HEAVY. Got an EMX1 on the way. And I am gonna drop a drum and bass tune thats been playing in my head for 10 years.
drop it already
14 years late and this is all I need to get an electribe. So good
FUCK YES! I found this channel again! These videos of the Electribes started it all for me!!!
*Computer beat makers* : Why do i hear boss music?
From 0:46 and on gotta love how you (unintentionally) came up with Dying Light's soundtrack 6 years before the game came out, haha. The EMX might be an older tech but amazing, feels more solid than computer programs IMO

usually we push mute button and part button to mute the part.
to mute "all" drum (or synth) part, it can be done to push mute button and "shift button" and part button!!
