I love it. My son gave me the carbon fiber version for Christmas. I carry it daily along with my ludt. I find myself reaching for it numerous times everyday. Two thumbs up for this light use little tool.
That Pub looks great in blue. It will be in Frankie's backpack...never to be seen again! 😁

Hey guys! just a lil tip, Its a Sheepsfoot not a Wharncliffe. Wharncliffes are a Slow downward curve towards a generaly very pointy tip, where as Sheepsfoot blades have a very steep angle towards what is like no tip...

You are correct, a knife like that is definitely legal to carry in most places.
I prefer my micro recon 1. As I know you carry Bird. It’s always on my keychain, hopefully I don’t forget and take it to the airport when I fly.

8cr.... the magic steel. I leave it clipped to my laptop bag that I take to work everyday. I think I have only cut tape and opened adult beverages with it. It's also an easy knife to lend to a non-knife person who needs to open a package, they would be hard pressed to accidentally stab themselves with it

I'm a Carpenter , like Big knives , I always have at least 2 knives on me , and some days I edc my Cold Steel XL folders and not a single person has ever told me not to take my knives to work , including the customers . So F that , especially if they're legal in your area .

I have had the carbon fiber version on my keychain since it was released. I love it and use it all the time! But somehow the super steel is starting to rust!? (Sarcasm on the super) but really, it is a good keychain “multi-tool” if you care most about the knife itself and you’re on a budget.

A blade like this doesn't need 20cv or some surpersteel. It's a back up blade, not a workhorse for batonning bricks.

I even hauled them blades down to the Boeing plant in Everett today where we installed set up and test-fired that printer! actually got to see it do stuff pretty freaking amazing I must say.
And by the way OTFs are illegal to carry in Washington 😆 ....and I also carry a fixed blade on my belt.... three knife carry yes I'm that guy but I kind of like them fancy anyhow I sure am liking this torrent loving this torrent actually...

Wonder if this knife is sharp enough shave off my bush with? Sometimes you need a more compact blade to get in those dark crevice areas. I saw that it shaved off his wrist hair, but pubes are more coarse. Maybe I’ll buy one and send it to you guys to put a mirror edge on, then it would be a great tool for cleaving bush.

Carbon fiber, it's 17.94 on amazon box cutter, I have to use one 8 hours a day.. Let's hope the 8cr doesn't go too fast on cardboard cause I just ordered the cf version thanks for the review! I don't really cut down many boxes but more tape though I score cardboard to fold it and I'm sick of carrying the big one.. I had a slidewinder edc box blade but it's even smaller and I left it in a hotel Monday..... Maybe this will work better though the slidewinder worked great and had a clip

I have one of these in carbon fibre and it’s not the best knife in the world, but here in the UK knife laws are so stupidly restrictive. I carry this a lot, especially if my knife I’m carrying is on the margin (e.g. if I’m carrying a Mnandi which is illegal as it locks, this can be pulled out in any situation where the Mnandi might raise eye-brows, or even be seized! Of course the Mnandi will be fine most of the time, but it doesn’t open beers!

If I was a chick, I'd boob-carry a bunch of stuff. That's a great option. As it is, every waking hour, I have a neck knife (tucked away) and a mini flashlight around my neck and don't even notice them anymore after about 5 years. You did remind me that I frequently require a bottle opener-and don't like carrying my leatherman all the time so looking for anther option. Maybe something that clips to the neck lanyard. Except for a medium to large pocket knife, I'm just not a pocket stuffer or a belt sheath kind of guy.

WARNING: Do not give friction folders as gifts to non knife people (unless you don't like the person). Here's a non knife person story from recently, my brother gave up a buck vantage pro in s30v for a no name assisted knife worse than an mtech, then sharpened it with a dremel tool. Don't give these people friction folders.
