I have the 2019 Arc’teryx leaf alpha gen.2 jacket my self it’s the best shell jacket I’ve ever owned , I used the gen 1 leaf alpha parka jacket and the a alpha gen 1 alpha bib pants for 8 years in the Norwegian Royal Navy . I never had a single problem with the jacket/pants kit . It’s not for nothing all the SOF units I the Norwegian military use Arc’teryx leaf alpha 🇳🇴 ⚓️
I have been using Leaf Combat Pants gen2 for about 7 years and they, along the more civilised Xfunctional SV version made from the same wonder fabric, are the best all-round pants I have ever owned. The first pair of Combat pants were worn almost every day for 4 years, and after losing some weight I washed them (not the first time...) and gifted to my son in law. They were still in perfect condition, the materials used are something amazing. Just 3 days ago we were at rescue dog training with our German shepherd work line puppy, crawling around in dirty tunnels. My wife had to wash her work pants after that, my pants were perfectly clean. I have 3 pairs of Combats, had to stock up because they are discontinued for some strange reason, and 2 pairs of Xfunctional SVs, and they will outlast me easily. Amer Sports being sold to the Chinese was a blow, I admit. Never seen such tough lookin seamstresses, careful with that beard getting caught in the machine... Just got some ThruDark clothing and they are a joke compared to the real thing. Quality is so-so and materials nothing special, all marketing.
Before you buy this stuff , realise that it is owned by ANTA Sports , a Chinese company . The same company that " Anta Sports began a boycott of the NBA in October 2019
