France now has a powerful military and modern day tactics, and they also have nukes, while Germany isn't even allowed to make nukes. Basically, if this happened in modern day, part of Germany would now be France.

No it does not. France's military is too powerful and the most of the fighting would be taking place in the region of the Rhine, which will make german industry there inoperable and thus would cripple the german economy.
I'm pretty sure that France could sweep it's way to the Rhine at first but then be slowly pushed back due to Germany's superior economy..
