It broke my heart how Leah carried herself. You could tell she just felt small and like she stood out from the whole group. She kept her head down the entire time and her tail tucked😭❤️. Personally she was one of the prettiest girls in the group! And her personality was amazing. I feel bad for her having to be best friends with a girl who’s friends are such cruel people to her.

I was best friends with this one girl since 4th grade and she always had new "best friends". I'm not the type of person to say my friends cant have friends, but she would drop me every few months when another random girl came into her life. No doubt if I were still friends with her the same exact shit would be happening to me like the childhood friend in this episode. Sometimes people don't reward loyalty with the same so you have to let them go 🤷🏽♀️
This happened to me. One of my best friends had 9 bridesmaids, and there were only 2 of us who werent in her sorority. They didn’t talk to me at all and then “accidentally” included us in a text group where they were talking crap about me after I helped the bride find the other bridesmaid their dresses because myself and the other non-sorority friend were the ONLY ones who ordered their bridesmaid dress on time and the color the bride wanted/purchased flowers and decor around, was discontinued.
3 months before the wedding, I spent 4 hours calling various stores trying to find them dresses in the correct size and color while keeping the bride calm and they had the nerve to be pissed that I was doing something the MOH should have been doing. NO YALL DONT GET TO BE PISSED AT ME. WE ALL HAD 5 MONTHS TO ORDER THE DRESSES, MAYBE IF THE MOH HAD ORDERED HER DRESS ON TIME THE BRIDE WOULD HAVE ASKED HER TO HELP.

If I was the bride in that situation and I didn’t think that it looked good on her, I’d tell her but not in such a mean way. Something like “it’s not as flattering for you as it could be. Let’s find something that makes all of you look more beautiful than you already are.” I wouldn’t want anyone to feel left out because of their body type or size, and surely there’s a dress style out there that looks good on all of them.

Oh my god noticing how leahs self confidence plummeting after just the first dress because of the other girls comments is so heart breaking. You can see she was uncomfortable at first but she was trying to be happy and excited by forcing a smile but after the first dress and those comments any hope of getting a fake smile out was gone. My goodness I really hope Leah watched this clip and realized she deserves people who don’t put her down to pick themselves up.
I swear after watching some of these episodes that I kinda want to open up my own dress store and if any idiots like this come in, kick them out. I know I wouldn't make much money but it would make me feel a lot better, I don't think I could ever work in a place like this, see stuff going on like this and not want to drag the women out by their hair or tell them exactly what I think about them.
To be honest tho the dress leah had didnt really bring out her beauty it wasnt the dress for her BUT they shouldnt have said it like that theh could have said i dont think its the right one i liked the dress the first girl was wearing and honestly leahs was plainer than that one but she was probably embarrassed and sort of lashed out.

I have no idea how that poor woman stood there and took that. I would've stepped down as a bridesmaid and maybe even not go to the wedding at all. Just because you've been friends for a long time doesn't mean they're always going to be the same person and good for you. I seriously hope she's surrounded by better people now. Finding adult friends is harder in the US since coworkers can be friendly outside of work but you normally don't disclose anything too personal like problems to keep things at work smooth with your boss (say you got hungover once and you recap a story from a while ago, you get sick and call out, they make a joke about it to the manager). Childhood friends don't normally last from people moving away for different colleges and work. See how she has one old friend and 6 sorority sisters.

Ive never met a sorority girl that challenged this sterotype. I used to work at Panera Bread and dear lord do I have Greek horror stories. Frat boys threatening to throw phones in my face bc we dont have a cream cheese flavor he wanted, literal breakdowns pledge week bc we're out of bread bowls "you have NO IDEA how hard sorority life IS!", literal screaming and stomping bc they were not handed a 32 oz cup for water, beer cans all over the bathroom (Id need to be drunk all the time too if those girls were my friends) and one of my favorites is blocking a very shakey elderly couple from sitting down in a crowded dining room bc your sisters get out of class in 45 minutes. This doesnt even cover half of it, or the issues with off campus sororities.

Not because of those annoying sorority bitches, but because of the guilt. At least as much as I did. I was honestly so surprised it took me so long to realize that I put myself into such a trash situation, and surrounded myself with such trash people. I remember the asshole telling me “You were so popular and nice until you started to hang out with [insert friends name], like seriously she’s just so disgusting. What a waste.” and “You know I heard [insert friends name] said that she things you’re stupid and that your mom’s a [--]” But like their whole group was a WHOLE new level of toxic. I’m glad I stopped hanging out with them at the end of 6th grade. I found myself a friend that I cherish deeply and although she might be “unpopular” or a “loner” or whatever stupid names people call her, I’ve learned to never let go of friends like that, since you rarely find anyone that legitimately cares about you. I’m trying to find her social media or something to at least apologize. I know it won’t change anything, and that she probably doesn’t even remember me, but the search goes on! This reminds me of when my cousin got married. All her friends were the typical small town southern Baptist MLM moms. The bachelorette weekend was miserable, the last night we were there I pretended to be sick so I didn’t have to go out with them. It wasn’t a very nice thing to do but I just couldn’t handle them any longer.

Leah is the brutally honest understanding supportive best friend. Sami is the smug annoyed and mean best friend. Leah gets put as the bad one but Sami is really the one that deserves to be laughed at like that.

I think she was "yuck"ing at the dress, not Leah IN the dress. It was a very different style than the one she chose, but that doesn't mean the bride wasn't being a coward when it came to her sorority beating down her childhood friend. She said to the CAMERA that she felt bad and knew the sorority was being mean, but she didn't do anything to stop them.

When the bride actually what she thought the fake expression of concern was so horrible you could just see that she's been influenced by her sorority sisters because at the end of the day she's only known those girls a few years tops, while Leah has known her for more than a decade and some change. Leah is here trying to show support for her childhood friend but yet that same type of love, respect, human decency isn't being reciprocated. I had the exact situation as a bridesmaid in my favorite cousins wedding. All the others were her sorority sisters, and they were very snooty acting towards me. However, I'm the don't give a F type, and was happy to help make my cousins day.
Honestly, I couldn't imagine choosing a sorority sister I've barely known as my maid of honor over my best friend since 6th grade. It just screams of a a desperation to be accepted by these shallow, selfish women who don't deserve it.
