Congratulations!! Soo proud of youu~ Also a fun video idea: culture shocks i faced when I got to Germany/ some interesting anecdotes of your life there!! Love ya
I have 8 years of experience in Germany and would like to share some insights about the challenges. 1. An MBA is not as valuable without proficiency in the German language. 2. High taxes (approximately 42%). 3. High competition is expected in 2024 and the upcoming years. I believe it will become as competitive as Canada. 4. High rent for accommodation and other expenses make it very hard to save money. 5. The language barrier is a big issue. 6. Slow internet. 7. Tasteless food. 8. Nowadays, it is very hard to gain admission to public universities, which are the only free option in Germany. 9. It's very challenging to pay your 2nd-year fees in Germany due to the high cost of living.
1) When you are living in a different country you are supposed to adapt to their culture, right? Which means learning their language. 2) It's competitive everywhere, you can see India as well. 3) Taxes are high I agree but they also provide you with a good lifestyle, job security, health benefits and much more. 4) I always say public universities are the best, like LMU and TUM where I am. 5) For the food thing, we make Indian food at home and there is a whole big Indian community in all the cities which arranges all festivals and all the food you get in India, yes including the chat junction! 6) Is it hard to pay for the second year? Then do student work/Hiwi/odd jobs and fund yourself which I will discuss in my next upcoming vlogs. You earn a lot from students jobs!
@@vitta_scientifica Many UA-camrs create positive videos, which are important. However, students also seek information about the darker realities of Germany. Many are hesitant to make such videos because they believe they won't receive much attention from the audience.
@@vitta_scientifica I carefully reviewed your points, but it seems that they don't make sense. Do you believe that accepting the culture will automatically secure a job and learn the German language?. In contrast, India has more competition, but people have the support of their families, which is very helpful. However, you mentioned that people get job security, so why did DAAD mention on the website that unemployment is a little bit up? Do you believe that it's straightforward to get admission to a public college nowadays? I think you should ask someone. my last point is that you also accepted that taxes are very high, so how can students Pay their 2nd-year fees because day-by-day expenses are very high, what about those people who will come to Germany thinking that they will pay their 2nd-year fees?
@@Honest_1806 For student jobs there are no taxes. You get an income of 1200€/month whereas the city i live in Munich is expensive which has around 600-700€ cost of living. The extra money you save
