We all MUST have giant SUVs. Everyone that owns an SUV and is thinking about future purchases should get back into a car and remember how much better the driving experience is. If you love driving. Why haul around 3 tons of material with most like 1 person in it for 75% of the time?
Great review, as usual! I totally understand the XM. It’s for the Consumer who demands attention, where the X5/X6 just won’t do. Personally, I would choose the 760i. I think it’s by far one of BMW’s best models out now.
Yowza. Would obviously have to test drive it to see if it “fit,” but I can easily see falling for this thing (if I could get ‘em to maybe knock $120k off the MSRP). Thanks for the great review. Good job building the suspense re the price: Ended up being less than I would have guessed.
I’ll stick with the X6 M50i. I love the hybrid tech but not blown away by the performance. Couldn’t see why I’d…or anyone…would pay 170k plus for the XM. I see rebates in the near future.
I'm not a huge fan of BMW's recent design language, even Chinese manufacturers are bringing out better designs. This is okay from the front, only because it's completely different to what the market offers.
While I like the XM, I just find it very insulting that BMW would release this vehicle (which NO ONE asked for) at that price in this economy. Meanwhile trying to find a 228i GC or a 330i is equivalent to trying to find a needle in the haystack. I just wish BMW would feed everyone who is CURRENTLY at the table instead of trying to invite more people to the table and giving them priority.
@@pwj86772 Don't just look at badges...Kia's are designed by Audi's old designer and their performance division was BMWs performance M division Engineer. EV9 looks amazing.
Steve delivers again. But BMW does not. Drove it today at an M event locally. What a rough and strange automobile. Love my X7 M50i - hate the XM’s looks and majority of its ‘benefits.’ I must not be the target market for it… at least my ZR1 and my Viper are faster … for now, as electrics are unfortunately starting to offer bonkers performance, but are one trick ponies.
BMW has completely transformed its base from the “Ultimate Driving Machine” to the “Ultimate Show how much money and how little taste you have machine”.
Glowing grill , two non functional exhaust tips and no sunroof . BMW needs to learn the words like gaudy, tacky , classless. They use to be beautiful classy cars. Not anymore.
Those wheels are the most obnoxious wheels of any car for sale in 2023. That they come standard on a 160k vehicle is a story only Kim Kardashian would buy. When you can buy a full fat Grand Wagoneer for $45000 less than this with either a V8 or a 500hp boosted inline 6 - a vehicle that can tow nearly 10000 pounds - this BMW is even more ridiculous. The cheap tires on this - about $2300 before tax, install and balancing. So figure nearly 3 grand for tires! LOL.
You know what everybody loves driving? Electric golf carts. Now imagine a golf cart you can drive on public roads that are faster, safer, and more efficient than all other cars. Perfect transportation. How did we not do this sooner?
As a Mercedes-Benz fanboy, I fully agree with you Steve.
Love the XM for being in your face. So is the new 7er.
I love this, wish they would still put a panoramic roof with that amazing headliner

Thanks! Love the 760!
Dealerships can’t move these I wonder why
They are practically giving these cars away the my local dealers….almost 15k off of rrp with all the incentives
I love that rear end
Yeah - it’s the coolest angle.

That Red Label version at $185k sounds more like your speed ;-)
@@stevehammes I can probably just write off the extra $20k. That's what rich dudes do, right? I saw it on "Seinfeld."

It looks like a bulbous ill proportioned X5. I just don't know what to think of it. The 3 series on your channel is so much easier on the eyes.
My dream SUV 😍🔥
love this
The interior is nice, I like it! Exterior is too much for me. Overall, I'd prefer an iX.
I agree!
The front end looks like a hog’s snout. Worse than Lexus’ design.
Nice
Somebody made a plug in hybrid with a V8? BMW did.

Fair point.
Kia EV9 looks more appealing to me
🤣

Siriusly, I'll take Bavaria over Shtootgard every time, due to the strudel. Nuff said
You liked that one??? ;-)
@@stevehammes Who makes the best strudel? You?

Yeah, luckily they’ve preserved the 3 series
Wow! Saw this in person yestersay, amazed on how ugly it looks up close. Videos and photos dont do it justice.

BMW just threw everything at this. I am not really a fan of the styling.
