Just wanna say this to Gwen- All will be well, that is for sure. Can see that she is a hell of a person and a mother and her little one is so lucky to be having Gwen as his mum. Take it easy Gwen, you go Gwen!
As a single dad who has been divorced for close to 3 years, I do not know what my young child is feeling or thinking about not having a ‘complete’ family. I always try to provide the best for him, what’s best for his interest, spending quality time with him whenever possible. Always assuring and reminding him that daddy and mummy are not together is never his fault. I may not be the best husband, but I still can be the best daddy to my son. Reach out to people whenever you need help, social workers/counsellors helped me a lot on how to better manage my situation. Take care and stay strong all single parents!
It’s 2022 and it should be acceptable these days that there really are single-parent families. I grew up with a single mother myself and not having a father figure. But my mother is always present in everything. As long as there is love, constant presence, and you being Jaden’s moral compass, everything will go well, Gwen! 😊
Maybe that's why you're advocating for it. Because you have no idea what a functional family is. 80+% of convicted criminals are from a single-parent home. 70+% of homeless people are from a single-parent home. 85+% of low-wage workers are from a single-parent home. 95+% of single parents are women. Why? Because they made bad, selfish, narcisistic decisions and now their child has to suffer.
Love, constant presence and moral compass are too lofty thoughts; too lofty for the entitled, delusional, frivolous, social media validation seeking modern feminist woman. She spends more time on social media than with her family. She didnt last even 1 year in marriage....Jaden most likely will grow up with gender issues, end up in jail or become a sissy. Good going girl. More power to the modern woman!
As a child growing up in a seemingly “normal family” consisting of both parents and no one knows what went on behind closed doors, Gwen, i think you are brave enough to make the decision you are trying to make rather than staying on in a marriage which both parents do not get along. growing up since i was 5, my parents fought daily, sometimes one of my parents threatened to jump off the window by standing by the window while the other, banging head against the wall in shower or packing up clothes to leave but they stayed on till 2020 when my mum passed on and i wish my mum was brave enough to get a divorce at least my sibling and I could grow up in a different environment even if it meant single parent. my mum would maybe have been much happier rather than struggling all her life.
@@hiddenconquest5289 thanks ❤️ I hope everyone will do the same, especially parents whom are stuck in abusive marriages to be brave to make the right decisions to allow their children to grow up in a better environment :)
From the perspective of a single parent child: I lost my dad not to divorce but to cancer several years ago. I think every single parent kid would sorely miss their mom/dad but having a solid support network helps the kid a great deal. I may not have had my dad for the past few years but I’ve been very fortunate to have several good father figures and older friends. The wound never goes away but having good people helps a lot. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help if you need it, and even if the kid is being a troublesome brat and difficult to control, at the end of the day they love their parent very much. Take care single parents
I think many parents just always think "its the best interest for the child" but they never actually ask the child, are they really happy or is this what you wanted? If the child chose his father over the mother, shouldnt that be the best interest?
You can do it, Gwen! Have faith and just keep doing your best for Jaden. My best friend of over 10 years is a single mother of two. I met her when her kids were only 6 and 3. They're now in their late teens and both are sweet, thoughtful, kind teenagers with the right values in them. It's all about the environment you put them in, and the kind of influence you allow around them as they grow up. And I'm sure in time to come, you'll meet the right man who will love you for who you are, and also accept and love Jaden as his own child. Don't fall in love with someone just because he can provide for both of you. Fall in love with someone who makes your heart flutter, who brings joy into your life, who accepts everything about you - your strengths and weaknesses, who supports you unconditionally, who's your personal cheerleader, and who understands what it means to date a single mother.
Single parenting is very tough especially if u do not have family for emotional support. Not necessarily financial support. Life is tough to begin with. None of us wish for and thought that we will end up being a single parent one day during marriage. Life as such. Just have to bite the bullet and bulldoze our ways through somehow. That is the only way we as single parents have to fight everyday and learn to accept it’s part of our life. Stand strong for the kids because nobody can replace or take them away from our lives. Remember that we can only fight for our kids and ensure they have a healthy, prosperous life growing up. This message is specially for all single parents. Stay strong.
You don’t marry someone to be a father figure to your child, you marry someone because you’re both in love and he’ll take your children as his own… if you just marry for the sake of having a father figure in your child’s life the marriage is not gonna last, same thing as marrying because you’re pregnant and not in love… if you’re not in love don’t get married, it’s gonna come to an end
Actually I’m curious about your comment, sorry if I sound like I’m criticising. Love is of course needed for marriage, but doesn’t love eventually fade over time and becomes a choice instead? How do you suggest keeping the love alive in a relationship or marriage?

What Gwen feels is ambivalence and one of "no choice", and that is a poor start to a marriage which will not have a happy ending. You are right of course when u say after long time, you will know a person's bad side and then love is a choice and an everyday effort, but that is AFTER you convince yourself that this person is 90% right and you like him/her as a person, you can share good and bad things with him, both can see each other through good times and bad. Although I also feel that for some people, staying in a marriage even if the person is not who you love is also quite possible (like what you say), that is, if they are not idealistic in love and if they are mature and have an intact marriage as their goal. These types of couples can also have a great marriage. But what Gwen and her partner seems to want is to have the universal experience of being in love and finding The One.

But the point is you move the fuck on when things are not working out. That’s life. What is there humiliate her about? We should be supportive. If the person in the video listened to a lot of the stupid judgemental comments here, it’s not helpful to them one bit. All these idiots are making judgemental comments because they want to feel righteous and better than people who “made mistakes”, because apparently they don’t. 😂 Before you type nasty things that don’t help others, think about it for a split second. You sound bad and you’re projecting unto others that you’re judgy and have no empathy. Let people live, choose and do whatever they can to get out of tough situations, regardless of how they got there in the first place? I’m with Gwen, I’m a single (separated) mum with a 2 year old boy and I’m so glad I make the decision to leave. A lot of what the older single mum said is true. Every little decision you’ll make is for your child’s best interest. And the dad will always be a part of your life, because he’ll be apart of your kids life. Focus on you as much as you do your child. Happy mum is a happy child. Keep things as consistent as possible. Good luck to all in whatever struggles you’re overcoming! 😘
Local girls very desirable meh? How can u not blame the girl? She too stupid to see the guy is just trying to get into her pants. 3/4 months meet pregnant already? U go for cheap thrill with guys that dont truely love u then when relationship turns bad u blame the guy only. Open ur eyes properly
honestly I js feel sorry for the child to have to go through all these problems. she clearly admits that she don't really love the guy, then why be with him in the first place. secondly she said they did it only after 3 months of knowing each other, and she is 25 doesn't she know how to use protection or something so she actually did bring it upon herself. I don't get the point of her being in this video, to tell ppl how unwise she is? really hope she will be a good mother and teach her child to be better.
Look at the concept of the title - "Confession room" LOL you don't go to god and gloat about all the wise thing you did? Clearly we know who is being unwise now. If you haven't been in the same situation, no one asked for your cynical critique. If you did - make a video and tell the world about all the wise choices you made then.
She don't love the guy but be with him. Why? That got nothing to do with wise or not already. Person wise or not is not blamable. But being with a person u don't love for his person is not a likeable person whether u are man or woman. The man is not there to be the father figure of the family that you dream of. The woman too.

How are they supporting each other? One older divorcee counselling a younger divorcee to be. If you need help, get help from someone on a different boat so that you can cross over to a different boat that does not sink.
how would someone else with a “complete family” understand the struggles of a divorce, or the expected journey or uncomfortable questions that the child would experience ? This comes in the 2nd half of the video
Why she don't like him want to be with him? My 65yo BCA retired civil servant just imo bought and married a fashionable single mother with a teenage daughter. Idiot, government pay him to be a king to a wear branded gds trophy, and with a pretty baby child now. Tell me she won't be with an ang moh when he dies. The other is a retired Ura man, his young unsexy thai gal got him at haircut shop and she never worked for decades. She just wants to be with her church "friends" and rejects him fetching her from church. Really? Young lady miscarry and never made another.

A single mom who is convinced that a father figure is not needed can not give good advice to a single mom. The most significant gift a parent can give to their kid is to show them how much they love their spouse, care for them, a strong family starts there. So unless a single mom learns to put = a sign between the kids and her spouse then there will never be a good foundation for a strong family. Kids need to learn the language of love, If they dont, they will repeat all this single broken family trend in their lives as well.
Hello beautiful how are you doing today? I am sorry for invading your privacy I saw your comment and I saw your profile , I must say that you are a beautiful and charming woman , and I would love for the both of us to get to know more about ourselves if you don’t mind?
research shows that children lacking a father figure can pose some issues in their daily lives I still believe its good for both parents to be involved even after divorce
That is why I told myself I won't mind if my future wife is a divorce before and have a child. As long I love the girl, I wouldn't mind taking her and see her child as my own. I would not judge anything.
When you willingly do the deed with a guy you only met for 3 months without protection and follow through with the pregnancy, this is what you get. Actions have consequences. Best wishes for the innocent child, but I have no sympathy for gwen.
My sincere advice: Never marry again if you have kids from previous marriage. Never marry someone with kids from previous marriage. Never divorced when you have kid, is both parent responsibility that they need to suffer for the good of the kids. Kids are innocent why should they suffer for parents lousy decisions?

All these idiots are making judgemental comments because they want to feel righteous and better than people who “made mistakes”, because apparently they don’t. 😂
Before you type nasty things that don’t help others, think about it for a split second.
So many comments in the comment section, reminding us why a lot of the local guys are so undesirable. 🙃
So u rather go for Ang Moh? Disgusting!
@@thestifmeister2905 The world does not only consists of locals and angmohs, but thanks for proving my point. 😂
Local girls very desirable meh? How can u not blame the girl? She too stupid to see the guy is just trying to get into her pants. 3/4 months meet pregnant already? U go for cheap thrill with guys that dont truely love u then when relationship turns bad u blame the guy only. Open ur eyes properly
the local girls too 😁
My advice to the not too old: Marriage is not easy... Need to be extra careful.
Divorce will hurt your child!! I have seen so many cases
Why usually is woman take care of the child when divorce but not the guy?
because of the court system favouring moms
thought it was gwen when i saw the title..stay strong!
main takeaway for me is - don't practise UNPROTECTED premarital sex. be wise.
And why you get pregnant with a 20 years old kid? Very sad for the child
00:24 Very good..
❤️can i get a singapore passport if i adopted in singapore ❤️ waiting for reply ❤️
is ok she still pretty, still acceptable in the market
honestly I js feel sorry for the child to have to go through all these problems. she clearly admits that she don't really love the guy, then why be with him in the first place. secondly she said they did it only after 3 months of knowing each other, and she is 25 doesn't she know how to use protection or something so she actually did bring it upon herself.
"When ur kids grow up you dont really need a fatherly figure"??
gg advise
Single mum here… hugs 🤗 keep the faith
Hello beautiful how are you doing today? I am sorry for invading your privacy I saw your comment and I saw your profile , I must say that you are a beautiful and charming woman , and I would love for the both of us to get to know more about ourselves if you don’t mind?
Hope Jasmine learns that when you look at a partner just for financial purposes, there will be regrets for sure & high expectations will always lead to downfall cuz no world is ever perfect...
@@matreen427 A blind man cannot lead another. Ask someone who is not blind to help.
It can help. There are many ways to do something with just as many happy endings
❤️❤️

A single mom who is convinced that a father figure is not needed can not give good advice to a single mom. The most significant gift a parent can give to their kid is to show them how much they love their spouse, care for them, a strong family starts there. So unless a single mom learns to put = a sign between the kids and her spouse then there will never be a good foundation for a strong family. Kids need to learn the language of love, If they dont, they will repeat all this single broken family trend in their lives as well.

research shows that children lacking a father figure can pose some issues in their daily lives I still believe its good for both parents to be involved even after divorce

HAHAHHAA
A father is crucial in children's life. A mother can only provide a female perspective of life and not the other.
Not always
That is why I told myself I won't mind if my future wife is a divorce before and have a child. As long I love the girl, I wouldn't mind taking her and see her child as my own. I would not judge anything.
"Like", Like , LIKE! hehe
When you willingly do the deed with a guy you only met for 3 months without protection and follow through with the pregnancy, this is what you get. Actions have consequences. Best wishes for the innocent child, but I have no sympathy for gwen.
Oh I see
My sincere advice: Never marry again if you have kids from previous marriage. Never marry someone with kids from previous marriage. Never divorced when you have kid, is both parent responsibility that they need to suffer for the good of the kids. Kids are innocent why should they suffer for parents lousy decisions?
Well said
Omg Gwen! You don’t truly love him then you marry him for what?? You should have just go ahead with the abortion back then. Solve all the problems.
Hit that everyday
All thanks to western influence, this is becoming more and more prevalent in Singapore. 😒
