  • The second stop of our 2022 African safari took place in Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda. The main objective: trekking with the endangered mountain gorillas. This was a bucket list adventure for us so we decided to trek twice as to visit two different families. Day one was an incredible experience, but day two... day two was something else. The footage here is from the second day where we set out to visit the Agashya family - a name translating to "Special" from the local Kinyarwanda language. The experience was nothing short of special as the difficult trek up the daunting volcano rewarded us with an unforgettable interaction with an engaging family of mountain gorillas. Please enjoy!

Amazing animals! peaceful and going about their business. I wish other countries would treat their wildlife with this much respect. in yellowstone we have traffic jams and yahoo people trying to get a upclose selfie with a Buffalo. here they are making money but with dignity and respect for the creatures and their habitat

Was at the park with my brother Sept, amazing how much the experience touched me. People, myself included do not realize how powerful, amazing it is to be among the Gorillas, only a few feet away. If anyone is thinking about the trip, go just go. People were wonderful, as a kid I watched Tarzan every Saturday morning, dreamt of the jungle, well I was in Tarzans Forest, so to speak, they filmed the show in Costa Rica I think. Good stuff, thank you.
