I needed a comparison like this, thank you! I’m already familiar with Degica’s RPGMaker series, but the price tag hindered me. It really does look like something that’s work for me better than Tyranno. Thanks!
I was wondering if I should get VN Maker since it's currently in 75% discount. I tried Renpy and I kinda like it. But if I don't use it for like 1 month (because life), I gotta learn all I did before getting back to my project and it's so much detail to care about. And I hate the fact I can't use multiple scripts there. As for VN Maker it sounds so much easier. I really need the chapter separating my scenes.. I'll try redoing my work on VN Maker to see how it goes. Thank you very much, you now have a new follower here on UA-cam. :)
Thank you for this video, it was really helpful and most of all, very valuable seeing as there are not many videos made of Visual Novel Maker. I used to use Tyranobuilder and I can already see based on the comparison that Visual Novel Maker is a lot flexible and clean, very much something that I will be interested in purchasing ^^
Very helpful. I've made a few VN's with TB. So I plan on making a published game on steam. It seems easier to publish a Visual Novel than a book these days lol
Hello. I was wondering have you tried renpy or cloud novel for your visual novels. To me cloudnovel is the easiest because you can copy and paste you whole story and it does have the choices section. Renpy requires coding but it is not hard and i think renpy is the most popular from what i have been told
I bought it, a bit overwhelming the first day and I tried to look at the tutorials for Tyranobuilder and it was difficult to watch since the videos aren’t that sharp to look. I’ll look into VNM.
After I move the background image folders, the NVM doesn't look for them automatically. All my background command result black screen. Is there a button to do this?
ciao! nice comparison have you ever tried to export one of your VN for Android? I tryed various tutorials but I didn't make it yet... what is the easiest exporting tutorial I should follow? thanks
How do you think Ren'py stands up against these ones? I'm just curious I've been looking at different engines, but don't want to go around buying all of them.
Well, Ren'Py is free and probably less glitchy, but I don't have much experience with Ren'Py, so I can't really compare them yet. I do know that the styles are completely different; Ren'Py involves walls of text whereas VN Maker is drag and drop. It's a preference I suppose.
Hi Roxiano nice video, I wanted to find out Visual novel maker, can you make a video or tell me about its assets as in what it has & has not. I'm looking to create my visual novel & I can't draw nor hire an artist so I'm thinking of getting it as it also has assets but I'm wondering how many? I saw it has students but I would also need a fat man etc those kind of characters. I've used Renpy you have to code its not 100% hard but there are no assets so the info you give me would be a huge help thanks.

Please make a video where you explain starting a new visual novel maker project from scratch! This is a super valuable video you made!
Thanks! I am definitely thinking about doing a tutorial series like that, since it's not very covered
@@RoxianoCreations I'll chime in and say it'd be cool if you made that :y

I've only used tyranobuilder and VN Maker so far, but for future projects I will use other engines.
@@RoxianoCreations I'm going to take a look at Tyranobuilder thanks to your video. I had never heard of it before. Cloudnovel has everything built in
I like a lot your review is so detailed.
What do you think about the Tyranobuilder 2 beta?
I bought it, a bit overwhelming the first day and I tried to look at the tutorials for Tyranobuilder and it was difficult to watch since the videos aren’t that sharp to look. I’ll look into VNM.
Quite hopeful. Thank you.
TyranoBuilder is easy to use, BUT- exporting to Android is full of bugs. Also, the file sizes are huge! I am back to Renpy now.
IS VN Novel Maker is a story game only software or can you export your story to various formats?
Thanks for this!
After I move the background image folders, the NVM doesn't look for them automatically. All my background command result black screen. Is there a button to do this?
big thanks for not starting out "HEEEEY GUYS" sign of tremendous sophistication!
Thanks for the tutorial. I really like your chair. Do you know where I can get a chair like that?
Thanks! I bought it online, I think from Amazon
Very nice video, I watched it to the end. Visual Novel Maker goes for me I think :) Thanks!
ciao! nice comparison

Yay! I'm making a tutorial series for it now, so be sure to check it out ;)
