DELICIOUS & EASY, NO SUGAR CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM! (KETO)

If you are on a low sugar diet or living a healthier lifestyle, then this buttercream might be for you. Just a few ingredients and you are ready to add them to your cake. I already posted a chocolate cake recipe that is low carb/no sugar and it goes great with this buttercream. I am posting the link below for those who want to check it out. Also, I use Swerve as my sugar replacement but you can also use Monk Fruit. Do make sure that the sugar you use doesn't raise your insulin levels if you want to be in Keto. I am not a Dr so make sure to learn and talk to your Dr before you follow any diet.

Can I use cacao powder instead of cocoa powder or are they the same thing?

Not exactly the same. One is fermented and roasted. I haven't tested it with cacao so I can't tell you how it will taste but I do know that in baking chocolate cakes it's a good idea to use good quality cocoa. I honestly would try it to see how it works. If you do, let me know if it turns out well.

Usually, people say that you use it in the same amount but I don't typically use it so I can't say for sure. I would suggest doing a test and see if you have to increase or decrease.
