Not sure why I ended with "Have a good time." 😂 Sometimes you say the weirdest things while recording and don't notice until later. Have you tried Habanita? If so, what are your thoughts?
I see quite a few of my favs in your background. Jimmy Choo is a great patchouli. I just bought Habanita, we'll see how it goes - thank you for reviewing it.
I’ve been waiting to try this perfume but I always for some reason punk out and remove it from my cart. My niece would love the bottle for the Goth esthetic.
I think it's worth buying. I just wouldn't bother repurchasing, if that makes sense. And if you know someone would like the bottle, that's a win-win. I don't regret the purchase.
I got a bottle because I wanted a witchy scent. It ends up smelling like incense and candles on my skin. It smells like lipstick and baby power at first. I would wear this around Halloween time 🎃
Btw, mastic is great for helping stomach and intestinal troubles, ulcers, and diarrhea...the real, pure mastic, chewed like a gum, or powdered in a tea or capsules. It's like a miracle for me.
This sounds incredible! I heard it has 600 ingredients, and was made in the 1920s to scent cigarettes originally, not to be worn...I like the sound of it, but it's price $185, so far keeps it out of my reach. I like strong stuff, like Opium and YouthDew. But I also love powdery scents, so I hope I can try this some day.
@@VeronicaSays wow! I'll give that a look. I love the way you describe things, it really makes me feel like I can understand it, almost smell it by osmosis, right through the screen.
@@VeronicaSays by the way, have you ever tried Fath de Fath? It's a very uncommon fragrance these days, and I never really see anyone talk about it. Like Habanita, it's somehow off the radar...I'd love to hear you do a walk-through of that one.
The only bottle that I know of with a tobacco leaf on the cap is Botrytis by Ginestet. Other really great tobacco scents are Tabac Taboo by Parfum d'Empire and Tabac Aurea by Sonoma Scent Studio. Les Indemodables Vanille Havane is also very good. I owned Habanita but swapped away my bottle. It was an older bottle. The scent was rich, warm and velvety. It was a sweet peachy tobacco scent. Really sensuous but I just didn't reach for it.
Hi Petunia, thank you for these recommendations! I will look these up. It's so interesting - I don't get any peach in this. Do you know if the person that ended up with it like it?
Sort of. I read and post on the blog Now Smell This. A few times a year the owner of the blog hosts swaps, splits and freebie meets for the regulars. They are a great group. Unfortunately, The woman who I swapped with is no longer commenting. Not sure if you are interested, but you should check it out. A super nice group of people.
No disrespect but I feel that you are missing the facets and qualities of this perfume, considered the most long lasting perfume in the world. The greater majority of people who reviewed it and who also have this frag (like myself) consider it one of the greatest and most complex scents ever. It is sexy, sultry, old-fashion, sweet, floral, spicy and of course, powdery. And it does have over 600 ingredients. Habanita evolves for hours on one's skin, depending on the time of the day/year, mood and skin chemistry. It does have excellent longevity and sillage as it fills a room with 1 single spray. It is also quite affordable for its quality and performance. I paid less than 50 euro for a 75 ml bottle. Too bad you can't fully appreciate this underrated gem.
No disrespect taken. Thanks for sharing your opinion on this fragrance. Just because the greater majority appreciate it doesn't make them right and me wrong. All fragrance reviews are just opinions. Thanks for watching.
I know i asked you already about that one... and i keep on asking Cherie from top notes too... 🤣 i was searching for perfumes to try and I was drawn to the notes in that... but powder puff with shamilar though... and a flat almond note... 🤨
😂 I like almond though! So as the day goes on I do like how it's settling in and I still "like" it a lot. To me, it doesn't smell like Shalimar but it DOES resemble Shalimar Souffle Intense somewhat. I wish I had thought to stay that during the video. I like Shalimar Souffle Intense. I hope that helps.
I do like it! But I don't love it. Something odd in it. And it's very powdery so you need to be in the mood for that. Do you own it or have you tried it?

Hi Veronica, I recommend testing a perfume with a hint of tobacco: Banana Republic Tobacco & Tonka Bean. Greetings from Belgium :)
Hello 👋!!! Thanks so much for the recommendation. I appreciate it and thanks for watching. 🥰
Beautiful bottle and backdrop of bottles
Hi there! Thanks so much. 🥰
Mmmh havanna sounds wonderful. I love powdery notes and oriental perfume. Maybe black bottles that are floral but nutty tdnd to be rock'n rollish
😁 I think the bottle is so cool. This is a very powdery one!

Ah yes!! To wear near Halloween 🎃! Perfect!! I love that idea! 👍👍👍
It's a very cosy perfume for me.
Hi Julie! Yes it can very cosy especially in cold weather! 💖

@@VeronicaSays great! Actually, I don't hear anyone talking about any of Jacques Fath's perfumes, he's been neglected!😣😟
I know what you're talking about: Mariposa Habana, launched in the 50s if I'm not mistaken, I believe it's a Cuban perfume
Hi Dora! 💖 It's been a while since I filmed this but there is an original Habanita perfume in a different bottle.

Hi beautiful! I haven’t tried this fragrance. It’s has been in and out of my cart lol. Great review! 💖🥰🤗
Hey lovely! Worth a try but only if you really like powdery fragrances. 😉
Hi! Can You talk about the perfume Molinard by Molinard? Thankyou!
Hello! 👋 Thank you for watching. I'm sorry, but I don't have Molinard, only Habanita.
Great review 👏🏿
