Orcust is powercrept and we have bystials now
They already made a an archetype of Redoxes in the Vernusylphs and they haven't been very impactful.
Of course they haven't when they lock you into earth monster effects . Yacine's argument makes sense, but if they were really an archetype of redoexes, meaning without the earth effect lock, they would be broken.
Having Redox being locked into reviving either earth or dragons seems like an appropriate errata that keeps it functional.

Goblin is fine but mermaid summons from deck, iblee for sure needs a ban for that and it makes orcust splashable but the real issue is iblee.

Honestly I feel like a cuple of them can come off the banned list especially sense there way more op arc types that could realistically be on the banned list

Ive been playing orcust for the past 4 months on hopium and copium that Harp Horror will eventually be free from the TCG banlist I've think he has serve his time
honestly some cards probably won't be as busted anymore since some of the newer cards are just so strong
Upstart was played against me last week at locals. It lead to opponent playing into three Allure of Darkness… sooo yeah there’s that
Electrumite has been doing nothing for a long time in Masterduel and only after AGOV has a Pendulum deck been even Tier 3-2 in the OCG. The card isn't the monster everybody makes it out to be. It is a staple for Pendulum decks but the game is full of staples for decks that use this or that summoning mechanic anyways.
Edit: Now Plushfire is out of question, at least until it gets a " hard once per turn" errata treatment.
Don't compare OCG/Master Duel pend to what it would be in TCG. Without maxx C it's obviously gonna be much better. Not to mention that tcg players are objectively better innovators than OCG players.
Oh and the deck isn't tier 2-3 in ocg, it's in the top 5 ish, that's tier 1
I disagree good pend players have been doing and activating electro/astrogr 3 times maximum ,and making almost unbreakable board, btw someone won a a tournament doing this and FTKed his opponent , yacine is correct
Stop comparing a format with Maxx C to one without it. Without Maxx C, Peundulum decks will be hard to deal with if Electrumite is allowed to roam free. The card should stay right where it is.

Beatrice is a really good card but it's nowhere near the power level of lavalval chain
I mean beatrice litteraly has higher power level than lavalval chain. The only difference is that lavalval chain is easier to summon. But even then, not even by a long shot anymore, this game changed quite a lot since 2015

Agreed. 4 is one of the easiest ranks to achieve and with the amount of grave based effects the foolish burial effect is way too good

Plushfire is complete garbage in MR5 I've spent weeks trying to figure out how to exploit it, and the card sucks, it dies at the first HT even with electrumite to 1

I think Lavaval would make more ftks more consistent and that is . never a good thing.
Only reasons as to why Dragon Rulers wouldn't be as good in current meta. Is because there isn't enough good rank 7's that function good in current meta.
ftk decks are already consistent, but that doesn't make them good. They aren't resilient and suck going 2nd. Lavalval chain would just be another decent card in decks like tearlaments, but the keyword "decent" here is important. That deck can already make beatrice relatively easily, so it's not like we can say that lavalval chain would change that much

Free colossus. A simple effect change and the card is perfectly fine. Change the effect to needed a thunder dragon to use in hand and the card is perfectly viable

With redox, harp horror, and Ib coming off I really want brilliant fusion to come off. The ishizus and block dragon are banned, all the best strategies to exploit it are dead. I feel like it wouldn't shake up the game
Simorg creates an infinite negate loop so he should stay banned or Avian should be banned instead. Having both legal is just asking for trouble.

Grass would be crazy with tear. 20 with grass , potentially mill 10 with ishizus, if you are coping mill another 4 with zombie vampire if you play horus , and of course tear cards can do more milling.
It would COMPLETELY suck. Tear is already somewhat bricky at 40, playing any more will be horrendous. And I said, left arm is awful with grass so it isn't a good argument

Also they wanted to push new meta in early 2022. After the January 22 banlist. The set with adventure and punk came out.
Nope, the negate loop was funny, sure, but there were so many outs to it that it was never that great.
It was banned because it put the wind barrier statue on a board of multiple negates and gave said barrier statue targetting protection.

Some of these banned cards could comeback as is and others would likely need an erata.
I’d rather keep cards banned instead of errata. It removes the legacy the card had, whether it was good or bad.
yeah sixth sense, plushfire, fishborg blaster and trap dustshoot are the ones that are the most needing of an errata
Knightmare Goblin is definitely unbannable, extra link in master rule 5 is complete cap and the extra normal takes at least 3 monsters to set up. The Targeting protection only really matters in decks that co-link but these days they rather go into S:P Little Knight who can do her own kind of targeting protection.
Actually insane. An extra normal summon in the modern game is even stronger than it was in 2019 and it is a generic Link 2. It isn't about Extra Linking. It is about being an easily accessible extender from the Extra Deck.
I would agree, but Goblin's high accessibility makes it more than worth the cost to set up an extra normal summon that can be used at ANY time during that turn. Extra Linking being irrelevant in MR5 does nothing to change this fact. The targeting protection is equally irrelevant.
Plus what Orga said about the extra normal summon being MUCH stronger now than in 2019 is 100% correct. The power creep in Yu-Gi-Oh these days is simply ridiculous.
