I've seen this approach, because we go to Portland every summer! Know this approach by heart, where the tall hill blocks the final approach view and then you go straight down! I'm actually going to be on an american 737 on this approach/landing in a month or so!
It’s one of the best! Every time I’ve flown in/out of Pwm, it’s been the opposite direction. Never had the harbor for takeoff or landing. Hoping that’ll change in august!!
If you like this approach drop a like! What's your favorite approach in the US?

Very nice 👍✈️
I’m flying here soon. Really hope they do this approach. I booked my seat the right side of the plane just for this!!
Good! Right side is the place to be for Portland!!
Biddeford & Saco at the 1:00 minutes. Peaks Island, Casco Bay at 8:00 minutes. Ft. Georges at 8:38
Yes! I'm uploading another PWM video this weekend--JetBlue's first flight of the season.
SEADOG3 arrival for the Harbor Visual. Nice video !!!
Thank you!
WOW😎 BREATHTAKING views on final!😍
I think this approach is really rare, right?
This approach isn’t particularly rare. Wind, time of day, visibility all need to be right, though.
