I'm in the process of restoring my 2006 LJR and 2006 TJ Sport to 95% stock. I'll look at Jeeps again down the road when they get back to building Jeeps again.
@@JeepsOnTheRun Reliability. Can't trust my 21 Gladiator Rubicon Diesel. Been in 3 times for electronic stability control issues, then it starts affecting everything else. A jeep it a tool for being off the grid. Simple is better. If you want something nice and plush get a BMW 550, If you want to be off grid, get a TJ or LJ.
The 95B recall fix was only for the Wranglers. Grand Cherokee 4Xe owners are still waiting. Hopefully in January. GC models have a split battery setup, unlike the Wrangler 4Xe.
I've yet to see a JL or JK with the windshield folded down, and what percent remove their hardtop/doors. I'd love to see a steel hardtop especially if it was cheaper.
I don't think this is about the windshield. I also think you don't see as many jeeps topless b/c of the difficulties involved to remove. Steel would add weight to this more than it does now.
My wife call Jeep this morning as of Monday we are on the list for the repair. The dealership is to busy to take ours in which I’m find with.We just found out Jeep not sure how true it is but the woman put us on a fuel compensation program. we are supposed to hear from Jeep in the next three days.
Being able to pull the back windows out is great but it does have its negatives. So many various accessories use the bolts that hold the hardtop down. None of those accessories work all that well.
@@JeepsOnTheRun Yup. I have the aMAYsing life bags. They work but aren't nearly as stable as if you could bolt them down. There are a few shelves that rely on those bolts as well.
I was at my local jeep dealership, I wanted to order a 2025 wrangler. The puzzling thing was I couldn't order one with my power windows on the door. For a customer to spend that amount of money, and can't get that anymore, well, I'm not mad, but going elsewhere for a vehicle. Hope someone pays attention to customers. I have absolutely no plans on removing doors off of vehicles, and that's too bad for jeep wranglers.
@JeepsOnTheRun I was told the power buttons are now in the center console only, because they are now giving you removable doors, to which, I have no plans on doing that, oh well ! This is just one I came across, colors were another. Fathom Blue you have to wait until 6months into the new year. Somebody has to listen to customers. I wanted to upgrade from the Renegade, to a new 25 wrangler, well, I guess Jeep will lose my business, I hear lots of jeep owners saying that there are no longer customer options anymore. My renegade has a hardtop my-sky roof. Wrangler's have canvas power, which and friend of mine had a large branch ripping it, and for me, hardtop power, he wouldn't have had that happen..
@@joewozniak1738 Ever since wranglers were a thing the doors have been removable. When we got power windows in 2007 the buttons have always been in the center stack - none of this is new. They are not there b/c the doors come off. As once the doors are off, you won't need to control the windows. They are there for other design reasons and room for all the switches in the door. You get used to it very quickly.
@@JeepsOnTheRun Thank you for the input, I never realized how long wranglers had those switches on the center console, I never paid attention, thanks for replying quickly 👍
@geneshadd4483 I know it's a good seller, I really hope it stays . I haven't enjoyed a vehicle as much as I have my GC 4XE. The drive especially on long trips have been amazing

What makes a "Jeep" a "Jeep" for you?

Keep us posted, I have not heard that one yet

That's fair feedback for sure. Have you been up against this limitation?

here in Germany nobody wants this shit
I agree. While it will change as we progress. It's not going anywhere.

Roxor cost is $30,000USD at the low end and isn't even road worthy
If I wanted a rugged bare bones Wrangler I would just rebuild a TJ or even JK
