I see your point, but none of us can truly know if there are bad intentions behind the show just yet. I'll admit that does seem to harp on many trendy tropes and try to appeal to manchildren, but there's a good chance that there is genuine passion put into this and has the potential to tell a cool story with a compelling message. That's what I hope for anyway
I understand why people see fnaf fans, bendy fans, etc as manchildren, but I honestly think that just because someone likes something you don’t doesn’t mean you can treat them like trash. For DEAR GOD I’m not asking you to cater to me. There is a difference between catering and treating someone like a human.
Frozen, Minions, Among Us, Rick & Morty, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Fortnite, and even Friday Night Funkin’. They all suffered from over-saturation. It’s not really their fault, but when something gets popular, the internet gravitates towards it, even long after it stops being insanely popular. Certain things like Sonic.EXE and other creepypasta properties don’t bother me in terms of getting a resurgence, but when they and stuff like Pibby invade ANOTHER community in order to cement popularity, then I have issues.

I get what you're coming from. But honestly, I don't really mind if it's a rehash of "Childhood gone dark" or the "jumping through the multiverse" thing. I'm kinda sucker for things like that. Plus it gives the character an idea of "Not everything is how it seems, it's not always joyful" people know that. Plus if people are continuously making content about it, whether it's good or cringy, it shows how much they enjoy the idea and want to push it forward! Heck, maybe if the pushing actually does well, we might actually get something good out of it. I guess it all goes down to the amount of people who are invested. 'Nuff said.
Yeah, I actually LOVE Learning With Pibby; I've even come up with a few different designs for a Pibbyfied version of myself, from having a few limbs and my face corrupted to being an entire giant glitching blob of corruption with just my face and one of my arms, though I haven't put pencil to paper yet and actually sketched out anything.
At this point, "scary" is becoming the new kid friendly. It's a mess that is being burned somewhere in a forest instead of being swept away to a garbage disposal. I would say that they're digging their own grave, but they've done that so many times that the pits are now giant craters. okay. I have two sides to this. 1. Pibby was right. Cartoon network has gone down hill. Should they have done Learning with Pibby ? Yes but in a different way. Being that it is a multi universe show. They shouldn't use the old cartoon characters (Flintstones, Jentons, Adventure Time, etc.) Instead came up with their own characters. 2. Being that its kinda base like CreepyPasta and as a CreepyPasta fan. The show got my attention. Being that the show is on Adult Swim makes the show adult cartoon show. So the show is not meant for kids. And the fact its too dark for kids. So being a Learning with Pibby fan I have both sides to this. If Adult Swim needs ideas for new characters that are original to ask fans who are actually interested in seeing something like this and get credit. Which might not happen. So the show might stop and the fandom might take it and use it. And make it special in their own way.

I understand what the point it’s getting across. I really do think things do tend to be overused When the FNF X Pibby mods began to rise, I didn’t mind it at first for a couple of reasons, one that the actual game doesn’t have any updates since maybe last year, and two, given the context of Pibby, I say anything is fair game. But later, a lot of them popped up, too much of them in fact. And also, I realized that FNF X Pibby Mods just doesn’t make any sense to me because how would you SING your way out? If there’s a genre that fit this Pibby environment well, it would be the RPG genre (Undertale, Earthbound, etc.) or a platform fighter genre (Smash Bros, Nick All Stars, Multiversus) Hopefully, all of this ends at some point
I think you're forgetting the execution of this stuff, Sonic PC Port is leauges better than the og game and Drowned Ben from what I've heard is pretty good, and DHMIS (IDK why that's one of your examples) There's nothing wrong with the idea it's just the execution is a make or break (also the pibby hand thing makes sense since kid show simplicity and distinction from the other guys)
I don't wanna flame this video because there are a lot of points that should be addressed, but I wanna keep in mind that, as of now, Pibby is just a April's fools joke. I feel like saying that adult swim is banking off this despite them not really having any official conformation of Pibby or anything relating to it is a bit much of a reaction. Not really an Aprils joke as it was released on Halloween in 2021. And yea, we dont know if its meant to be serious or not, even with the supposed 'leaked' concept art and ideas for the show it could have been an elaborate marketing stunt to create interest. Adult Swim knows how to market better than most corpos, as we have seen how Rick and Morty became big so fast despite being a mediocre show.

For those who did, I hope you know the difference between natural death and click bait creepypasta that turns any cartoon character into some satanic demon. When you are using random childrens cartoon characters (especially if you are in a big corpo business, like Adult Swim) as parasitic demons it screams with the obvious desperation to be edgy, same vibe as the Looney Tunes show (Loonatics Unleashed) had in the 2000's to appeal to the trendy edgy culture at the time. I see your point, but none of us can truly know if there are bad intentions behind the show just yet. I'll admit that does seem to harp on many trendy tropes and try to appeal to manchildren, but there's a good chance that there is genuine passion put into this and has the potential to tell a cool story with a compelling message. That's what I hope for anyway

It’s not really their fault, but when something gets popular, the internet gravitates towards it, even long after it stops being insanely popular. Certain things like Sonic.EXE and other creepypasta properties don’t bother me in terms of getting a resurgence, but when they and stuff like Pibby invade ANOTHER community in order to cement popularity, then I have issues.

I get what you're coming from. But honestly, I don't really mind if it's a rehash of "Childhood gone dark" or the "jumping through the multiverse" thing. I'm kinda sucker for things like that. Plus it gives the character an idea of "Not everything is how it seems, it's not always joyful" people know that. Plus if people are continuously making content about it, whether it's good or cringy, it shows how much they enjoy the idea and want to push it forward! Heck, maybe if the pushing actually does well, we might actually get something good out of it.

Yeah, I actually LOVE Learning With Pibby; I've even come up with a few different designs for a Pibbyfied version of myself, from having a few limbs and my face corrupted to being an entire giant glitching blob of corruption with just my face and one of my arms, though I haven't put pencil to paper yet and actually sketched out anything.

okay. I have two sides to this.
1. Pibby was right. Cartoon network has gone down hill. Should they have done Learning with Pibby ? Yes but in a different way. Being that it is a multi universe show. They shouldn't use the old cartoon characters (Flintstones, Jentons, Adventure Time, etc.) Instead came up with their own characters.
2. Being that its kinda base like CreepyPasta and as a CreepyPasta fan. The show got my attention. Being that the show is on Adult Swim makes the show adult cartoon show. So the show is not meant for kids. And the fact its too dark for kids.
So being a Learning with Pibby fan I have both sides to this. If Adult Swim needs ideas for new characters that are original to ask fans who are actually interested in seeing something like this and get credit. Which might not happen. So the show might stop and the fandom might take it and use it. And make it special in their own way.
Or better yet maybe finally make this show and end it right now we need answers

I understand what the point it’s getting across. I really do think things do tend to be overused
When the FNF X Pibby mods began to rise, I didn’t mind it at first for a couple of reasons, one that the actual game doesn’t have any updates since maybe last year, and two, given the context of Pibby, I say anything is fair game. But later, a lot of them popped up, too much of them in fact. And also, I realized that FNF X Pibby Mods just doesn’t make any sense to me because how would you SING your way out? If there’s a genre that fit this Pibby environment well, it would be the RPG genre (Undertale, Earthbound, etc.) or a platform fighter genre (Smash Bros, Nick All Stars, Multiversus)
Hopefully, all of this ends at some point

I think you're forgetting the execution of this stuff, Sonic PC Port is leauges better than the og game and Drowned Ben from what I've heard is pretty good, and DHMIS (IDK why that's one of your examples)
There's nothing wrong with the idea it's just the execution is a make or break (also the pibby hand thing makes sense since kid show simplicity and distinction from the other guys)

Not really an Aprils joke as it was released on Halloween in 2021. And yea, we dont know if its meant to be serious or not, even with the supposed 'leaked' concept art and ideas for the show it could have been an elaborate marketing stunt to create interest. Adult Swim knows how to market better than most corpos, as we have seen how Rick and Morty became big so fast despite being a mediocre show.

It's pretty funny how Twitter is attacking this video calling me a hypocrite since I made the Deathbed series. I wonder how many of them actually watched this video aside from seeing the thumbnail. For those who did, I hope you know the difference between natural death and click bait creepypasta that turns any cartoon character into some satanic demon.
When you are using random childrens cartoon characters (especially if you are in a big corpo business, like Adult Swim) as parasitic demons it screams with the obvious desperation to be edgy, same vibe as the Looney Tunes show (Loonatics Unleashed) had in the 2000's to appeal to the trendy edgy culture at the time. Whenever I portray cartoon death I try to make it as respectful as possible, after all it is the corporations that cause so many of these shows to get cancer. It's not the character's fault who must obey orders to play the role they dislike.

For a part is true that yes this show or attempt of a show is trying to catch on a popular trend but also us as fans gave it a good response and while yes some of the tropes are already burned if we also like it is up to us that companies try to capitalize it and besides that there is no oficial announcement about a pibby series it just has been used for the April fools joke and that’s it and yeah some of those shows and games are cringeworthy and surprises me they became popular but at the same time there are creative minds with different ideas and visions that are worth of our attention and while is good to callout an explotaition is not good to do it at the expense of criticizing everything as a single entity as not all are just bland copies of itself
