A lot of companies move production/assembly part to China because of the lower cost of labor. This doesn't mean anything: if it was designed, engineered and prototyped in Europe, and the China's assembly substation follows the manufacturer's quality regime, there is nothing to be afraid of. But there is some point of concern if we are talking about counterfeits (but in professional audio it's not likely to happen because of complexity of used technology).
I dont't understant than Yamaha 01V96i, not a legendary specialist like Soundcraft built its console in Japan, NO china, and they are less expensive than Soundcraft made in china. I really don't understand because I'm a lover of Soundcraft since more than 20 years. For me it's incredible.
Hi; ViSI should still work, the lock-out works on a cotrol actuator level rather than function level.
is the lock function the same for the Si Compact aswell?
When you lock the entire console, is it operable on the ViSi app or this is also locked?
