i like how the customer service rep tried to upsell him on phone service while he was in the middle of calling in to scream about his technical problems.
I worked at a Sprint call center. They MADE us do that and you got reprimanded and even fired if you didn't.
I'm hearing Jim Cornette talk about his problems with billing through cable and how it was "Not Authorized" and I'm like: "I had that problem last week with Spectrum." And then he name drops them as the company messing shit up lol
It's still better than mine. Optimum Altice is the worst. The old owner of the company prior to them had his wife on the town board and they refused to let anyone else in. No competition whatsoever. My township pretty big too. Anyways, they sold years ago and still nothing here. They set us back a decade. Plus, my specific address, I can't get internet anywhere else. So, I'm forced to stick with them. I'm as homeowner too. So, what can I do? Ha. I still act like I'm going to leave from time to time. But, they know. Worst customer service in the world. Ha.

@@Iceman300c Spectrum fucking sucks. Once they went to install a neighbors cable, disconnected mine, and since the phone is through them too. I had to go to a neighbors house to call them to hook mine back up. No apologies or anything for fucking mine up. Not to mention I've had multiple modems of theirs die.

That promo was hot! I love the back and forth and how they even managed to take a swipe or two at WWE. Usually, I would grown at a 20 minute promo but this was fantastic.

Was I the only one who felt that promo went on for too long? I started zoning out by the end.

its a real pain. like im pretty sure they already recorded them talking about Punk and MJF. couldve just told his artist to draw a thumbnail for that instead of for this. and just freaking upload it already man. and not waste time on some full lenght episode that 99% of its content was already seen by most people via previous Clips. at this point... im starting to think theyre with holding the MJF Punk stuff on purpose to build up more and more anticipation from it and milk as many views as possible once it finally drops. and that honestly really sucks.

@@DaggerPrince I doubt it. You have to think about how old Brian and Jim are and how long they’ve been around the business. They’re older and not very tech-savvy. So, they have to record the show, edit the show, cut the show, master the sound, and then wait on whatever artist is making the thumbnail. That takes more time than you’d think.
It's always entertaining to hear Brian or Jim complain about outside noise that never seems to actually pick up on the mic😂 I mean of course the other content too, but it seems to be a running gag that there is some craziness going on that only seems to effect them but not the podcast itself.
I have a plate of leftovers and I am ready to go for this one!
I've never seen a crowd bigger than the one Jim mentioned at the Hammond Civic Center, but I have seen a couple drunker ones.

true story. I heard about I think Chuck Lidell just stopped going out with friends after a while because at least once a night someone would stir stuff up and he'd just leave. There was no way he was going to be able to defend himself and not have the cops arrest him or get sued so he just started staying home.
I'm sure they do. I worked at a store in Florida and saw Robbie Lawler walking down the street. I attempted to talk to him for a minute, nothing special - and he was a dick. I asked him 3 questions and basically got a grunt to each of them. I finally just said "sorry I bothered you, good luck next fight."
@@Pogo113 that doesn't surprise me about Lawler. All the famous ppl I met treated me great but I wasn't treating them like they were special. I've never been star struck but I haven't met Terry funk or Steve Austin yet and I don't think I'll get to meet em. Especially Terry. The nicest famous ppl I've met is Roddy piper, Jerry Lawler, and kid rock. I sat down and had an almost hour conversation with hot rod. He is a true patriot and he told me that they live is not a movie its a documentary, we mostly talked about 9 11 being an inside job. Bc jet fuel doesn't get hot enough to melt steel beams. And 3 months later he died. I was so fortunate to have that conversation with him. I'll never forget it.

When you get internet, the ISP normally just gives you equipment that is just enough for what you paid for. So when you upgrade, they need to give you new ones that allow more speed. Even the ethernet cables need to be better quality as well. I just recently had to deal with an upgrade that wouldn't give me the speed just because of the kind of ethernet cable.
Even SPECTRUM GOLD sucks!!! I vote for a name change to RECTUM, now that's not false advertising

Back in 1986, Savio Vega was TNT in WWC Puerto Rico. His finisher was the Cobra sleeper aka (Million Dollar dream). Since it was a different sleeper for the time, only TNT knew how to wake up his opponent. After a few minutes, TNT still would not wake up his opponent, Isaac Rosario(RIP) Anyway, the man sitting next to me pulled his knife, & ran towards the ring, to stab Savio Vega. TNT was lucky, because the ring was surrounded by military looking security, holding night sticks. I think they took his knife, & he went back to his seat lol. That match is on youtube, but that must of happened, away from the hard camera. PS that night Issac Rosario was also the ticket taker.

Funny I've been getting Spectrum flyers in my mailbox for about 10 years. As someone who hates Comcast and AT&T internet and phone services, I was eager to try a new company. I call up Spectrum every year or two and say I want to switch to Spectrum and take you up on your special offer. Spectrum then tells me it's not available in my area! I say why the hell you keep sending me your flyers for the last 10 years then??? Now after hearing all the complaints on here I guess I'm glad I'm stuck with Comcast or AT&T who both suck!!!

I've been listening to JRE/DT for a few weeks now and can attest that Jim is in fact the best heal manager. He doesn't break kayfabe, he keeps up with the persona even though he's out of official wrestling arrangements. He is a true professional in the most sincere expression of the word - and I respect that; and feel it's precisely what the industry is missing today. To keep portraying your character on and off the air in order to allow pro-wrestling that fable legitimacy.
All the people hating on Corny calling him names and etc, it's all just an act, calm down. Jim has so much respect for the business he's still in it, even though he's out. Consider that!

They buy into his character so much they forget it's just wrestling, but that's the point in reason why Jim is so great. He's got folks fooled, and that's the magic of wrestling.

Its really Charter. Charter had one of the worst reputations of any company period. They got sued by alot of Municipalities in my state and lost
They 100% do not give a fuck about customer service or the quality of their product or anything like that. Too big to care. Their corporate culture is like the cable company from South Park. In fact, the cable company from South Park was a spoof of Spectrum.
