- Here are all of the cutscenes from the new Pixel Day update Week 6, including all the songs afterwards! Hope you guys enjoy the story! I definitely did!

Channel Info:
This channel consists of videos about modifications to a rhythmic video game (some of which I personally worked on) that range from slightly difficult to very hard for most players. Four arrows fly towards the screen forcing you to press them at the right time to the music. Hitting all the arrows in a song counts as a "Full Combo", which is very hard to do and takes a lot of time and practice to be able to do consistently and is the main gimmick of my channel, which I showcase in each video. I also include secrets and extra content that might’ve been undiscovered and show them off through instructional and entertaining ways that can be used as guides, as well as occasionally adding my own input on things happening in the video, all done through my creative editing style that focuses on being concise and transformative. In the descriptions I give my in-depth opinion on the video game as well as timestamps for each part of the video. Analysis of the three songs :
Senpai : most complex and happiest of the three, he's not taking the beep boop battle seriously, further proven by the fact he's holding the mic between two fingers.
Roses : Less complex but more dense with longer phrases and a higher tempo, now he's in business, holding the mic with his whole hand, the singing starts becoming robotic.
Thorns : Even less complex and less dense but with a higher tempo, the notes are very precisely on down beats and offbeats, making it even more robotic than Roses, almost no fancy rhythms, the soul is on its last legs.

I know it sounds cheesy, but in Roses I felt like he was desperately trying to make BF fail. Every segment gets faster and denser, like he is trying to make the notes more complicated as a response to BF beating the previous segment; but in the Left-Left-Down-Right spam part hit me as a "OMG just die already" moment, it has a lot of fast notes, but it's a simple segment. For me the song represents Anger that leads to Desperation, that leads to Mental Drain.

i really like how the sprite in the final fight looks like he's trying to tear his way out of something; his edges are kinda anchored to the world behind him, his teeth are gritted and his singing expression is strained, and it kinda sounds like he's singing through gritted teeth, not to mention how jerky and sudden the movements are too
it's just cool overall

Weirdly enough it reminded me of doki doki literature club, and it seems like I am the only one getting that vibes :(

@@opbattleaxe8744 changing the setting, changing how he looks, and changing how the background characters feel. I would assume senpai controls all of that. Plus not to mention the gf's dad sent him there so I doubt all he did was sit down and sulk (plus we don't know how long he was been in there but it seems like a long time, possibly before gf's dad retirement?)

I'm thinking this guy challenged Dad and lost or was a shitty boyfriend so Dad locked him in a dating game. Maybe he was very attention seeking, manipulating, asshat and that's why he was doomed to be "senpai" in a fake world. He was definitely human before becoming Giygas. He probably tried to date GF, similar to Pico. Unlike Pico, however, he didn't have the best intentions with his daughter, hence the line "I'll rip your nuts off while *she's gargling mine.* " So Dad did the simple option and shoved him into a dating sim where he became a virus. Then when BF and GF try to play the game, he sees it as a chance of redemption or escape and challenges them.

Though pure hate isn't really directed towards the bf, he has 0 hate there, but the gf (or possibly ex?) On the other hand reminds too much about her father and how he got trapped there...
I just love how much emotion is portrayed in a song without any lyrics. Like, the first song sounds all sweet and nice. It give you that bubbly feeling when you finish a good episode of an anime. But like, the next song shows how annoyed Senpai is even after his dialogue is done. He just sounds annoyed through his voice, and the song moves at a faster tempo, as if to signify impatience and annoyance. And the face he makes is perfect. Then the last song comes around, and the dude turns into a monster, but listen to the song. At first, it just sounds like a creepy song, but if you listen closely, there are a few things that stand out. One is the song moving faster and having a darker tone. It went from happy, to upset, to downright creepy. Another thing is how eventually, Senpai tries to come back out. In the middle of the song, the demon starts to sound like Senpai for a few notes, then goes back to sounding robotic. This to me, sounded like struggling and pain. Lots of pain. I imagine that this demon is in tremendous amounts of pain right now because of the form it takes, being turned inside out and everything. But it also sounds like he is trying to grasp onto whatever humanity he has left, hence why he tries to sound like Senpai. He's struggling to keep the human inside him present, but his illusion is just falling apart. And because of that, he is in lots of pain. You can even hear it in his voice and see it in his face as it twists and contorts while he sings. It just seems like there's a lot more going on here than what meets the eye...
Edit: here is the timestamp of where I was talking about how it sounds like Senpai is trying to come back out through his voice changing mid-song

I think Daddy dearest has actually been holding back the whole time. I always found it weird that he's pretty much the main antagonist and yet his wife is much harder than him, so I definitely think there's more to him. We might even get an extra track with him going all out.

You also have to consider that he’s way out of his prime, he’s retired.
A reminder he is an EX rockstar, he is probably pretty old to sing or remember all the notes and stuff and is much more harder to battle against people. He doesn't have the strength to fully kick it.

Just seeing this week makes me think the same to.
Thing is, in yansim every time you kill someone, the atmosphere gets worse, and you lose sanity, with some more side effects. (ex. Hallucinations of you murdering a rival, getting arrested when on too low sanity, random giggles that make NPCs turn around, sloppy kills, the screen becoming more like a horror game, etc.)
It’s crazy how the boyfriend and the girlfriend went from practicing before fighting the dad to being inside a game and fighting a demon that wants to kill you, steal your girlfriend, and use your body

Interesting theory, but I doubt that's what he meant by that. He could possibly mean that every time someone tries to get close to the dad's daughter, he got pissed and they get "punished" and in this case this guy was sent to vr. It seems like the punishments are all different. A possible example could be the demon lemon who wants to do many things to the gf, and none of them are good :o he could possibly been a good looking guy too but has been transformed into a lemon demon, especially with how sweet he sounds, he is super sour, fitting xD. Same way how senpai was put into virtual reality. Another commenter has analyzed that senpai sounded very robotic so it's fitting that he would be put into a dating SIM xD that and to improve on his words ;)
@@maximnikolaev6627 i think lemon demon just exists as an evil being. it could have been dad dearest doing, but he not only sings about girlfriend but about boyfriend too, and seems to get violent with other people as well. I mean, just look at the amount of visceras and flesh he had to make an giant scary replica of GF´s head and to cover the shopping with it as well, and remember that in week 5 he was just a observer along many others as well. maybe his interest got strong on them both since GF is a demon but looks rather weak compared to her parents, and what demon flesh tastes like.
but we really need more lore about the guy to see if this is true or not.

My favorite part of this entire week is how the notes actually have their own sounds for the most part. The up notes in roses all are incredibly important in the song as it as a higher pitch note as if he opens his mouth to shout. Same goes for basically all the songs here

i really like roses. the song is really good, it sounds scary and intense but also somewhat happy. it’s like he wants to be fully angry but he’s still in the game, and the cutscene between senpai and roses is wonderful. it’s so unsettling and i love it.
