That was about the same I was introduced to Carman. It was amazing concert/experience. We saw him at the Breslin Center Michigan State University (E Lansing, MI). I remember watching his tv series/videos at a Christian lunch club we had in HS.
I just ordered his concert on VHS, because I could not find one on DVD. I am heart broken that he died today. :'( I took my son and his friend to one of his concerts in 1994, and it was the best concert I have ever been to. May he Rest In Peace.

Carman is my favorite christian artist and I enjoyed his inspiring and entertaining music.I went to his concert in the 80's when I was still living in Toledo,Ohio and sign up as one of the volunteers.I will love and treasure all his music forever. Some of this is lame and cheesy, but I can't help but smile at it. He was just so genuine and you can tell he's having a good time here. I don’t find it cheesy at all. He had a talent like no one else for getting people excited about God. He used whatever means necessary to accomplish this. He was equal parts Elvis, Bowie, Michael Jackson, Billy Graham, Tom Jones, Prince, Andrew Lloyd Webber, etc.
I went to his concert in Ada Oklahoma in 1990 when I was ten. I met him after his radically saved tour. Second I went to in 2019 legacy tour Stonewall Oklahoma I met him after was impressed more the second time. I was impressed by how humble He was. He responded with wow a long time ago I was there when I told him. I still believe and know that I will see him again some day in Heaven.

She claims her faith and her loyalty to God, but she's a married woman who's going to Vegas in a couple months to have an affair with a singer. She's using the bible to justify it by saying my dad's an angry man that need to be avoided, but he gets angry only because my mom pushes buttons she should know not to push. I pray for her, but it doesn't seem to be helping so pray for her everyone. The bible says that in the last days that the strongest of God's followers may fall from Christ's path and it's happening to her.
