If you see this and can reply, I'm curious to know if those little cup(bulb shield?) in the headlight housing are easily removable. There are new projector style led now and I'm curious about if they will work in this housing. Thank you!
Thats ridiculous to have to take all that off just for the bulbs !! But great ideas on the fluid film and marker light replacement. Question,, us that the start of disassembly for changing out the fog light bulb? Saved this video and following now.
Thank you for the informative video. Especially the secondary preventive rust inhibitor. Toyota in my .02 really dropped the ball in taking great consideration of life/safety to drivers and those heading into the driver's path by NOT making the replacement of bulbs easy and time effective PnP. PnP without dismantling the grill, corner piece, and pulling the actual head light assembly. Perhaps their only intent is to force those NOT capable to make this a Saturday morning project to come into TOYOTA, Monday through Friday, taking time off from work to just replace a light bulb. Or also to replace broken tabs and plastic bolts, because many have not seen such a great video as yours. I cannot find the actual LED bulbs you used in this video. Could you please respond, or post to your vlog? Thank you. I for one and not happy, nor impressed with TOYOTA in this major design flaw and give them a "F". I also have issue with their design/build ineffective of the controls down low in front of one's shin to control such vital components like mirrors, headlight angle, and the (4) others. One of these does not have an illumination light. Las thing any of us needs is to be the driver or recipient of a Tundra driver finger fiddling with switches and not paying attention to the head-on you are about to have. Another "F". I do not know anyone that loses both low/high beam, especially drivers' side that WILL have time to order a replacement, purchase, and take the time to tear apart their Tundra to replace one damn headlight bulb. This is just foolish and irresponsible on their behalf to produce a product they rage being safe and number 1. One should be able to take the advice of another person or police officer and recognize you don't have an operational headlight, stop by your local auto repair store, grab a replacement bulb, and install it right there in their parking lot by twisting-PnP-twisting. It is just common-sense responsibility to life/safety of yourself and those driving opposite of you.
