Yes lol
Yh lol
Yes, yes I am
Yes
Yes lol
We used to use this as a ringtone when I was in high school. None of the teachers could hear it. 😎
Katherine Gaines brilliant! 😂
Seriously? I'm 42 and I hear it very strongly. It actually hurt my head lmao, but I have always had a sound sensitivity.
my students tried this with me and it drove me crazy trying to find the source of the sound. They were surprised that I could hear it.
They also can't hear it when it's on Vibrate only 😲
If you've never heard a phone vibrate you might need to have your hearing checked. Especially if it's in your back pocket and you are sitting on it. Or if it's in your side pocket and its touching the metal leg of a desk.
I loved the part where it was like EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
That part was sooo awesome hahahaha. Good one:) I rarely laugh out loud to myself at home, so thanks!
Yeah when I saw this comment I did lol .. good shit
lol
you're hysterical!!!
Yeah that’s mine to
I heard that sound for 3 days after second row seats at a Black Sabbath concert back in ‘81.
Lmaoooooo
mine was motohead bomber tour newcastle-upon-tyne england way way back
Same. Second row at a Rush concert (R40) oddly, I aLso was at Motley Crue’s farewell tour and they let my father and me go up to the barricade because we were handicapped and people kept standing up and getting in our way (not their fault) I figured Alice Cooper and Cruz’s tour would have been louder than Rush. The only other time did my ears rang that bad was shooting rifles for 8hours with faulty ear plugs. That was where I figured I had went deaf.
Van Halen 1984 tour
So worth it, though
This is how I used to be able to tell when someone was watching TV in the lounge while I was sleeping
Me too!!!
@@thelovepoacher me too i have never found anyone else who could hear the old CRT TV,s lol i could hear them from outside too
@@Trailrprkboys yessss!!!! People always thought I was weird cause even if I was outside I could tell if a TV was on because of that sound. If I walked into a room when a TV was on with no sound or picture, I'd turn it off and people would be like, wtf, how did you know that was on?!
Same and old computer monitors
Yes that is the worst sound to just wake up too x.x
I can literally taste the static and electrical w the sound of this! It’s like the old TVs being turned on or off.
I DIDN'T THINK ANYONE ELSE TASTED THAT UNTIL NOW!!!! 😱 I'm glad I wasn't just crazy lol
Static taste and smell is gross lol I'm so thankful for other people sharing. Cause it sounds crazy
@@breecullinane352 oh no. It definitely tastes weird!
Definitely can’t taste it, and it’s not loud to me persay but... the waveyness of the sound literally makes my head feel like it’s about to pop
Rofl im glad it wasnt just me like i couldnt hear hardly anything but ugh whyyy
I'm playing this video so that my brother thinks he's crazy as the rest of my family can't hear anything.
Hahahaha :D
NateTheNerdy I did the same with my teacher in class lol it was so funny
You are probably a young person, under 30, while your family is above that age, not hearing that frequency may be due to the presbycusis that normally suffers people over 30 years, is common.
😂😂😂😂
@@kashanito, I am 17 years old and hear this only on my left ear, is that normal or did my right ear got a light damage then?
I’m over 40 and I can’t hear it but my head feels it.
Same. I literally ran to the comments to see if this happened to anyone else or if I'm stroking out
Yes me too, my ears felt weird, like hurting but couldn’t hear it
I couldn't hear it either, but my nose tingles when I play it. 44 yrs old.
This 😂😭 I’m 30 and feel it lol but that’s it
Same
When I was in school, I would play this as loud as possible in my pocket until the whole class was in a frenzy screaming "TURN IT OFF!!!" while the teacher looked around confused as to why everyone was upset. Ah, the good old days
My thoughts exactly when this went viral. I was like lol they must never have visited Middle School
Thanks for the idea lmao
The level of evil is just.... I'm proud
Hahahahahaha I remember having classmates do that, freaking priceless but OW! Y'all were dicks 🤣🤣🤣
😂
the sound of my tinnitus.. i hear this 24/7
yup
same here (since 2 weeks). and i'm always like "come on, just a little bit higher so i couldn't hear it!". but nope, always there, left ear.
Jim Panse Aye,got mine two weeks ago. left ear, super annoying when listening to music as it gets louder aswell, but gone in the morning when i wake up :/
zik parr. mine is closer to 4800hz
zik parr why do people get tinitus?
I'm 42 and I can hear it. Or am I 41? I can't remember. Lol. I'm old enough to forget how old I am. 😂
I didn't hear a damn thing. But I turned the volume up to 100% and my 14 y/o son came screaming from the other end of the house for me to turn it down....lol!!
......I can't believe you can't hear that...it's so painful....my ears are ringing now cause of it :(
I can BARELY hear it, it's super faint.
My 9 year old was upstairs and I held my ear up to my laptop to try and hear it, im 42 and spent my life as a dj and touring in bands playing guitar. He yelled downstairs and said oh god whats that sound, turn it off! No one else could hear it but him!
@@sapphirejynx It supposedly only works on kids. Not a whole lot of adults can hear it.
I'm old and I can hear it. My Tinnitus is a whole lot worse than THAT!
I felt it in my head as pressure, but couldn’t hear it. So strange
Same
Same. And my daughter, 9 couldn’t hear it or feel it. And she has Autism so I thought for sure she would get something from it.
Same. I definately felt it.
I felt it
I felt it a lot but barely heard it
So should I just come back to this every year until I can hear?
😂😂😂
My thoughts exactly because I didn’t hear a thing
Sure thing, Benjamin Button
@@PRSMtax 😂😂😂
This makes my head feel like it’s gonna blow up
Me too!
I'm 30 years ... I heard it... after I put my phone to my ear 😂😂
Same
that sound, did it sound like static? as a teen, I heard as a really high pitched screeching noise. when my mum put the phone up to her ear, and she had heard a lower static-y noise. maybe you heard the real noise when putting it up to your ear, but I could hear the real noise from all the way across my house. sorry for the long comment bahahaha
Same lol
I can hear on my lap lowly at 37.
I’m almost 31 and can’t hear it at all even on highest volume up to my ear :(
I can hear it. My 11 year old says it sounds really annoying though...and it doesn't bother me so he must be hearing it differently and louder.
My 12 year old says it hurts his ears but he has had 3 brain surgeries
Hmm let me go back in time and see if I asked.
Pls don’t hate me it’s a joke
I dont get it im 15 and i cant hear it i can just hear the 11000 hz does it mean my ears are bad? Im so confused
@Plaguesource Dude it’s a joke you don’t need to think it literally
@Plaguesource lol ok
When you play a sound and accidentally trigger your tinitus.....
Omg for real lmao fuckkk
I played it and paused it right away and now it’s all I hear
Sameeee
I turned that shit off so quick 🤣😩 I was like nope not today
ah shit
Don't know if I'm actually hearing this, or just hearing some extra noise in the recording. If I'm inches away from a speaker and unpause this, there's a near inaudible sound, like a high pitched hum.
That’s all it is. I can hear it with the volume all the way down though so idk if people can hear it even louder than me or what.
It is extremely loud and extremely painful to me. :( I wish it was near inaudible.
What’s weird is that I hear it when it starts, then it fades. It still feels like there’s pressure in my ears, but I can’t hear it after a few seconds.
PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!! THIS IS A VERY VERY DANGEROUS FREQUENCY!!
Why?
@@Brenda.Aguilar It is essentially like radiation, a very similar vibration
This here is a near perfect copy of my tinnitus. I accidentally left it playing and I didn't realise till the video was over that it had been playing.
Yeah... I also think this is the frequency of my tinnitus...
I heard a click at the beginning and one at the end but nothing in between
I heard a click at the end and that's all
I can't hear this, although it could be my PC, I am using a Commodore 64 with a cassette tape recorder and using the speakers from that.
NICE
Now now no knocking the cassette tape, it was to vinyl what mp3's are to cds back in the day
Really?? Why??
@@captainzoll3303 Yes, that's why he can't hear it. He can't tell the difference.
It gave me a headache and my ears are ringing but I didn't hear anything.

Rest in Peace.

Literally. Wtf 😆
*I have surround sound and it's not even turned up all the way.. but once I played the video my ears perked up.. and all I heard was "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" then I stopped the video and it just kept ringing in my ear after about 10seconds..* 😮
Yeah, the video didn't bother me but now my ears won't stop ringing at that frequency 😲
I started with no volume (on phone) then hit the volume up button one time. It was harsh, and my ears still hurt. I only listened for a second.
My ears ring a lot anyway, but I didn’t physically hear anything, nor did my husband who’s typically very sensitive to high pitched sounds. I did “feel” like a weird pressure tho, that stopped immediately when the video stopped. Weird.
Samer
@@dalemuir1105 are your ears still ringing?
I'm 54 and I can only hear it very faintly. But, I can "feel" it more than hear it. It's hard to explain. It's almost like prickles on the back of my neck.
50 here, made my entire face scrunch up .
I’m 58 and same here! It actually gave me a headache. Made me uncomfortable
I am 42 and didn't hear anything but it did make my ears feel funny
Yes, it made me want to puke. I felt it inside my brain and in my stomach. lol. I'm 38.
54 years old, felt a slight headache each time I played it, and felt like a slight pressure to the frontal lobe.
I don't know if I heard anything. But, I know that I felt pressure on my head. As in, I needed to lay down to feel better.
Same here, strange
Me too my head is kinda sore
It made my quasi-bad tooth hurt like hell!!
52 and sounds like radio silence to me. Nada. Nothing. Zilch.
Well you've always got your looks still
I can’t hear anything. It’s literally dead silent 🤷🏼♀️
It’s killing me. It hurts my ears it’s so loud. And I have it on low volume and no headphones

Every persons different.
I'm 38 and can't
100 minutes after vedio.....can still hear the noise
Did your ringing stop?
Yo bro can you still hear it?
An interesting test would ask how many people who can't hear it have gone to rock concerts?
I can't hear it, 56 years old, been to at least 60 rock concerts.
LOL!
I've been to alot of them 26 and still hear it. I also worked factory jobs and stuff so always around nose. My current job has screaming children :).
I can barely hear this one and I’m under 40. I’ve been to a lot rock concerts
what? title is BS this is obviously a Justin Beiber song
🤣🤣🤣
Bahaha!
This is the sound that came from watching our vhs before the video started playing
It fucked up with my vision
When I was younger I used to be able to hear bats chirping. Now I can't even hear this :-(
I know for a fact that I can't hear with clarity anything over 15000 Hz, but I could hear this video, which made me suspicious. I pass the signal trough a spectrum analizer and I'm afraid the tone is far from being pure. There's a tone at 15 kHz indeed but there are also several armonics below it, particularly at around 5.4 kHz and 4.2 kHz, and those are the sounds I'm hearing. I guess this is related to youtube audio conversion.
So please, have in mind that if you hear something in this video, that doesn't mean you are capable of hearing 15 kHz.
Did it sound like you were flying in a jet at 35000 feet?
I believe you , I can only hear 12khz on other tests but I hear this
UA-cam removes frequencies at 15000 or higher
@@davidblankson-hemans9125 Only for mobile devices
This is by far the cleanest and clearest 15khz tone on youtube.
Glad I found this now. I turn 40 in 2 days and might never had known this EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Happy 40th btw eeeeeEEEEEEEeeeeeeee
Happy birthday!
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I can still hear it though.
same two year behind you
I just turned 40 on July 23rd and I don't hear shit. 🤦
I can barely hear it but it drives my kids nuts. So I love it.
Strange, but I can feel the sound in my throat.
brooksquirk me too! Lol
Ears nose throat are all connected that's why some can pick it up in the throat teeth neck.. I suppose it depends on how sensitive one is.
I felt it in my heart
It made me want to scrape out my own fillings.
I'm so relieved I can hear it! I'm 36 and feared I was somehow prematurely aging.
i can still hear 17,400HZ
my limit is 17,500HZ
I'm 17 and can't hear a damn thing 😭
34 years old, and I can still hear it. Nice.
I'm 24 and only can hear at maximum volume

Im 34 and i hear it 2. I guess we have teen ears
I can't half hear anything or I hear it completely wrong. (Kinda funny sometimes what I hear).
My poor dog is deaf too so he didn't move. Wonder where the cat ran off to?
Yeah my cat ran off
I’m 29 & couldn’t hear anything 😭
I'm 32 and i found out my hearing age is 39... yikes... Also I couldn't hear anything in this video unless I increase the volume beyond the limit
Im over 40 and hear it no problem
I can also hear those mouse deterrents you plug in the wall lol
I’m 30 and could only hear it when I had the volume right up and shoved in my ear 😂 few too many festivals/concerts for me clearly.
Ok...I'm totally freaking out on this 😂 I faintly hear it & the room has to be totally silent & I'm 61yrs young. Yet my son whom is 9yrs old kept hollering at me to turn it off cause it was hurting his ears. Wow!
I heard a static sound and now have pressure in my head! Weird.
I heard nothing but I felt the pressure like someone had clapped their hands over my ears... weird. I’m only in my early 30s yikes...

That not joking is a test they use to see how well you can hear
Me too!
Yeah same here. After I put it up to my ear I can still hear ringing in my ears
My cheap headphones won't even play this frequency, but when I put it on the hifi system it drives me crazy. Those that don;t hear it and use cheap headphones may want to try a better system before deciding they cant hear it.
I can only hear it if I hold my phones speaker right up to my ear
I literally hear this when phone/tablet chargers are plugged in. Does my head in, I can track down exactly where the noise is coming from. This sound just amplified my phone charger next to me 😣
Question, do you possibly have adhd? I do and I can hear my electronics but no one else in my house can. I found that a lot of people with adhd can hear “quiet” electronic noises
Same here if I’m charging something I need tv or music on . The ringing sound drives me crazy.
I’m 31 and I’m with all of you on this 😂 Industrial lighting is the worst. I’ve left buildings because of it and my friends think I’m effing crazy. 50 years of age and I still hear it.
Oh damn causes headache after a few seconds XD
41. I screamed and had to throw my headphones off. Yikes. I felt that in my entire nervous system.
I'm almost 62 and I can hear it... had my sound about half way up... When I was younger I would hear that sound in stores and if I stayed in it in about 10 mins I would be so sick to my stomach from it... I tell my spouse sometimes when we are out somewhere that I hear this .. He can't... I was told when I was in my teens and 20s that I was hearing the burglar alarm system in the stores and wasn't supposed to hear it.
In school I reacted to the fire alarm a split second before it would go off. I still flinch before sudden noises (I'm 44). I think it's more to do with a feeling than hearing it, though. I turned my volume up a bit and heard this, but mainly because I've been having issues with my speakers.
I can hear stuff like phone chargers if nothing is plugged in to them - and bluetooth receivers... wife can't hear them but it drives me nuts!
@@richardjhgraham I could hear my mom's phone charger too. She couldn't.
@@richardjhgraham Yes! Kind of similar to hearing old style TVs and being able to tell if one was on (even when muted) from another room.

john smith I hate that sound.
That’s it! I knew it reminded me of something!
@Jay Jack Yeah. I miss that, hearing that a TV was on somewhere. :(
Both PAL and NTSC CRT televisions generated a tone just over 15k, which generally only people younger than 30 can hear.
I thought this was just me. When I was a kid, I could always tell when someone turned a tv on the instant it was turned on. Even from across the house. I could hear and feel the sound. It sounded similar to this. Nobody ever knew what I was talking about.

Does this frequency have any benefits or drawbacks?
It's apparently only audible to folks under the age of 40; there's word that some businesses use this sound at night to keep teenagers away.
Reading through some of the comments, it apparently works better than one would think.
Yes, the drawback is it gives you a brain hemorrhage if you play it for more than 10 minutes after you turn 25yrs old.
The video isnt playing but i can still hear it wtf?!
Tinnitus
I'm 45 cannot hear this audio.
Clarence Davis After a certain age something happens in your brain that doesn't allow you to hear it.
I'm 28... can't hear shit. Should I be worried?
I use this as an alarm so my parents dont wake up.
Be careful, this kind of sound easily damage your ear, even when it's not that loud. Nobody wants to end up with a tinnitus trust me.
How though
Yes my ears are ringing ...does it go??
@@xenotypos does the ringing go away?
@@tarunb9477 I depends on the people, each case is unique (how long you have had it? just some hours after watching the video or for longer ?). When I wrote that post 2 years I was depressed because I actually had a tinnitus, something I didn't even know existed beforehand. It was a very agressive one, hard to bear all day and night. After six months it went away at 99%, I have no idea why but sometimes it just disappear for a lot of people. I heard about someone getting rid of it after 10 years... others have it their whole lives. It's often impossible to predict even for specialists. In my case, it wasn't actually because of a loud sound (the most common cause) but because of an infection in my ear, the tinnitus remained after the infection was dealt with. But in the end as I mentionned I'm lucky and now I have almost nothing left.
I couldn't hear jack shit??? Is it the frequency or a women moaning?
